My 7 year old Pit has been insured with Trupanion practically since birth. I am not a good saver - I see Trupanion as a kind of savings account for her care. Kind of like my own health insurance which costs more and reimburses less :). Ive never had call to use it until this year with two separate lameness incidents. I was seriously stressed about making a claim. I shouldn't have been -Trupanion walked me through the process and reimbursed my claims within ONE WEEK. I recommend them to everyone. Recently, my cat Spencer developed kidney problems. The bills totaled over $600.00. ASPCA covered most of the cost.I usually receive payment promptly, and there is usually a follow up call to see how he is doing. I can't ask for more.
