For their monthly fee, I expected much more.
Instead, I was turned off to the whole pet insurance industry. For now on I’m just going to put that $157 a month into a savings account. That account will cover everything 100% - pre existing conditions, examinations and meds. I’ll simply be removing the middle man. Trupanion could have done better and not have been so nit picky. Out of $2200 worth of invoices submitted, only $400 was covered. I didn’t need to get out the calculator to do that math.

I love Trupanion
My bulldog had a luxating patella in 2021 on her right leg. Trupanion paid out that claim as promised. Unfortunately my girl suffered the same issue on her other leg in 2023. Trupanion, again, paid the claim as promised, this time the process was even faster. Over $7,000 in medical bills covered by pet insurance. I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t get it for their pets.

What a Feeling of Relief!
It was an amazing experience. To experience the relief of having insurance at a time when I'm so deeply worried about my pet is beyond words. I almost started crying with relief, feeling I'm not alone in caring for this furry companion. Not only would I recommend Trupanion but I DID recommend it to everyone in the waiting room - and I didn't even have to try. My grateful reaction was enough to have people literally ask me if I would recommend it, and where to get it. I could respond with a resounding "YES! And you can get it right here!" Since then, I've told the story many times, recommending it to others as well. Thank you, Trupanion!
