Pets Best is great!
Pets Best hasn't let me down. They have covered every claim for Pearl. There policies are what they say they are. I get reimbursed quicker than 5 days most part. This is the best insurance and you don't want to miss out.

senior shelter cat's claim
This was my daughter's first cat. We did not know he was that old and shelter did not report any health problems nor any were apparent. I got insurance for her cat as she could not afford one. When she came to stay for a few months we went for health check 6 months after I started paying for pet insurance. We found out that her cat is over 8-10 years old and had ear infection, osteoarthritis and needed dental surgery. Surgery alone was over 800 $ plus several visits for ear infection. However, expected payback from insurance is 71$ because of lack of medical history... Cat was left on doorsteps of shelter with no history. I want to cancel insurance as it was waste of money.

Great value if you love your dog.
When my first dog had to have eye surgery in 1995, the surgeon told me, "You're the kind of owner who would spend your life savings to help your dog...you should seriously consider getting pet insurance." It made sense, so after looking into it, I signed up with VPI. 20 years, 3 dogs, and 4 very expensive surgeries later, I couldn't be happier with my decision. The value and piece of mind is more than worth it.

absolutely wonderful
OUR 7 MONTH OLD LABRADOR was having trouble walking and was diagnosed with OCD (osteochondrosis dessicans). Our vet suggested surgery at the MS State veterinary school...which we may not have been able to consider due to the expense if we had not had Embrace insurance. She had the surgery 2 weeks ago. We filed the claim and it was paid within a few days. Amazing, because I file health insurance claims for a psychotherapist and they can take 90 days or more to pay!!!Thank you, Embrace, for our puppy being able to return to being a normal active puppy.

Don't Embrace Embrace
I tend to believe that we all experience people/companies/customer service differently, and that one person's glowing review will be another person's miserable experience. This is one of the latter; I chose Embrace precisely because of some glowing reviews I had come across. Timing or events, however, conspired, and by the time I was able to file a wellness claim, they had apparently upgraded the software they use to process claims. Instead of the 5 to 10 days, it has nearly been thirty days, and I am entirely fed up. Since I rescued two cats from a kill shelter, I needed the wellness reimbursement to enable other bills to be paid and unfortunately, all I got were excuses about the upgrade. I then came across a series of extremely negative reviews about reimbursements and coverage, complete with contact numbers for the Attorney General of the relevant state and the Better Busienss Bureau. I wrote, politely, to cancel the policies on the 15th. I just received an email giving me a head's up that they hadn't gotten the ACH payments canceled because, per the author of the email, I had only canceled last night. To say that I am livid would be an understatement. IF the payments are processed, which is actually likely, I will also end up paying overdraft fees because, thanks to not having been reimbursed, I had to pay out of pocket for my two cats who WERE covered, as well as more out of pocket care for the rescued kitten, who needed her second immunization. If you go with Embrace, speak to a human being and then get everything nailed down in hard copy. I am so not impressed, and even when I first expressed the urgency of getting the claims processed in the promised 5 to 10 business days, I got zip reassurance or action.

Pets Best is the Best
I am so grateful that I had Pets Best Insurance for the final 4 years of my senior cats lives. The claims process is easy and the response for payment is quick. They truly are a caring group - I received a sympathy card when my cats died. I recommend this insurance to every pet owner. When I'm ready for another pet I will definitely insure them with Pets Best again.

So far, so good
I'm a registered veterinary technician who is no longer in practice. When I left practice, I knew it was important to insure my dog as I no longer had access to discounted vet care. I chose Embrace due to the USAA discount and the wellness plan option. I like the idea of having a wellness plan in place that is not linked directly to one vet clinic. I can use it where ever I chose (and where ever we may end up moving to in the future). My wellness claim was paid extremely fast. I hope to not have to use the injury/illness coverage, but I am glad it is there.

Total rip-off
While they are very courteous always talking in terms of furry families, they were absolutely useless when it came time to file a claim. Very poor customer service and despite enormous time and energy spent on paperwork and over $1200 a year in premiums, nothing in response to claims.

HIGHEST PRAISES FOR PETS BEST
I can't say enough good things about Pets Best Ins. Last year my 12 year old Miniature Schnauzer, Shelby was diagnosed with Diabetes, then as a result of the Diabetes got cataracts. Thanks to my Pets Best Insurance I was able to give her cataract surgery & save her sight. But as if these 2 medical issues weren't bad enough during the year as we were working with the vet to get her insuline regulated, she has had 2 bouts of Pancreatitis, a Urinary Tract Infection & eye infections. Needless to say, she has had a rough 1 1/2 years, but knowing that I had Pets Best behind me to help with the expenses, I was able to get the care and hospitalization she needed.
Pets Best is ALWAYS prompt in their claims processing. I've had pet insurance with another company and it was such a hassle; they would only "pay a portion of this and a portion of that", or were constantly returning the claims for further information or wanting the actual doctor's comments and signature on the claim. They were a real hassle!!! Seems they were always trying to cut the claim amount, deny it or hassle me so much that I just gave up. I just didn't have time to do all they wanted. I've NEVER had this problem with Pets Best!! With all the stress of the past 1 1/2 years, it was nice to have an easy & prompt claim experience with Pets Best.
I can't thank Pets Best enough and don't know what I would have done without you.
