Good Decision to go with Trupanion!
Having a new puppy can be a bit challenging. We have been to the Animal Hospital multiple times, and I never give it a second thought, because Trupanion has been great at covering a portion of those bills. When I have called for support, the people at Trupanion have been wonderful. We know it was the right decision to get pet insurance and in particular with Trupanion!

Excellent Insurance
So pleased with Lemonade insurance for my dog. I filed a claim and I had the money in my bank account on the next day. The coverage is exceptional. I highly recommend purchasing the insurance.

Ear infections are preexisting conditions.
Trupanion refuses to cover ear infections as preexisting conditions. In other words, because my puppy had an ear infection before I purchased my policy, Trupanion refuses to cover any subsequent ear infection, no matter how much later or unrelated to the earlier infection. Even after my vet sent an appeal letter to explain that the subsequent infection was unrelated to the original infection, I've still been denied coverage. Save your money. These people are a nightmare to deal with.

Appreciative for coverage and communication!
PetsBest has been in our family for about 6 years now. It's the type of thing that of course you wish you never HAVE to use, but in the cases when the coverage is needed, you are given peace of mind. I think that the website experience is streamlined and clear and I think that the communication once a claim is submitted is impressive. I appreciate the coverage and reimbursement levels that my plan has afforded me and I am grateful to know that some of the costs associated with my pet's treatment have been reimbursed to me to help offset some of the expense. Trupanion is peace of mind.
Trupanion is peace of mind. I mean, all insurance is a racket, and pet insurance is no different. However, not having to make decisions about your pets' health based solely on financial considerations is such a wonderful gift.
