My only issue with Trupanion is the premium increases EVERY YEAR!
My only issue with Trupanion is the premium increases EVERY YEAR!!! I don't receive any additional benefits for that premium increase, just have to pay more for coverage.

I love knowing that I can take my baby boy to the vet and not worry that he can’t get the care he needs because of finances !
Streaks wellness visit went great. He turned one year old and seems to be in tiptop condition. Nationwide paid his wellness claim quickly and the process was simple and efficient. I really appreciated the service as this was my first claim and I was concerned that it would be a long drawn out process. I was very impressed!

A Peace of Mind
It has been a great experience from signing up my Simon (Cairn Terrier, age 3). With his coverage for the last year and a half, Nationwide has given me peace knowing there would be some financial assistance for his healthcare needs. I highly recommend pet insurance and start with Nationwide.

Owner
Having insurance for Hunter has been a blessing. Grew up with several dogs but never knew how expensive vet Bill's could be just for basic wellness visits not to mention when Hunter incurs additional problems in his life. Thanks NationWide you are truly on my side.

UPDATED REVIEW; DELIVERS AS PROMISED
I left a 10 Star review in 2015 & I wanted to follow up to let people know of my positive experience with this company. This will be a long review so if you don't want to read it all, here is the Short Version: Embrace does what they say they will do. You need to read your policy (several times) and truly understand the Terms and Conditions. I honestly believe that all the negative reviews are because the policyholders do not understand the pre-existing rules, specifically in regards to the temporary pre-existing exclusion guidelines.
Long Version: I bought a policy for my 8yo DLH in 2014. After the 2 week waiting period, I immediately requested a Medical History Review. The results from Embrace were that my cat had a temporary pre-existing condition of enteritis. (He had an undiagnosed case of diarrhea a few weeks before I purchased the policy.) They explained that as long as he did not show any signs or symptoms of diarrhea for 12 months, the exclusion would expire and my cat would be covered for all illnesses and accidents during the life of the policy. Malibu was healthy and showed no signs of illness for 3 years.
In March 2018 (almost 4 years into my policy, he was suddenly lethargic & lost his appetite. I brought him to the vet who sent me to a specialist, where he was eventually diagnosed with Large Cell Lymphoma (an aggressive form of cancer). We tried giving him medication & appetite stimulants to get him in better health so we could start chemotherapy. He unfortunately deteriorated too quickly and I had to make the sad decision to put him to sleep a few days later.
I filed my first ILLNESS claim & Embrace covered every single thing, including the exam fees, diagnostic testing, bloodwork, the biopsy, radiograph, medication and even his euthansia (minus the deductible & copay, of course). They procesed all of my claims quickly & without heartache. I would (and do) absolutely recommend this insurance company to everyone I can.
I'm still so sad about losing my baby but I am getting another kitten later on this month and I will be purchasing a new policy for him with Embrace as soon as he comes home.
