Overall we are happy with customer service interactions and support.

Overall we are happy with customer service interactions and support. If it were not for trupanion we would have been forced to make decisions based on finances, without considering quality of life options.

They always find a way

To get out of covering your expanses that is. Absolutely useless "insurance". Experts in avoiding paying your vet bills and decisions cannot be appealed or discussed with a supervisor. Absolute scam. Avoid and just save money for unexpected vet bills.

Pets Best is exactly that!

Pets best is exactly the best. They are prompt to respond to claims. Claims are filed by sending a picture of Vets invoice. They pay well compared to other pet insurances I’ve had.

Pet Insurance

I have 2 dogs so pet insurance for me is expensive but I don't regret having it. Insurance has gotten better in covering certain illnesses in particular the rise in cancer and arthritic conditions.

Highly recommend

We have had this insurance several years and have never been disappointed with it. Once I pay my deductible it pays just like it says. 80/20. Once our baby had been diagnosed with congestive heart failure a year and half ago it has been a Godsend. She's on several meds so it really helps. I recommend it highly.

First claim delay

Three months to review your first claim is not an efficient process. The company relies on you to get previous vet records to provide them info...I thought that was their job! Would not recommend this company.

Horriible coverage for vet follow up instructions and pet food/medication needs

My pet had diarrhea in result of a possible allergic response and the medicines to help the allergy. He was pooping water every hour for 5 days. I requested that my VET recommend food and anti diarrhea medicine would be reimbursed. I had purchased these to get him better and did not analyze what was and wasn't covered under the policy as I needed to get him better asap and also I assumed that since this was all part of his treatment it would be covered. Your policy did not cover this. Ridiculous. Talk about not having a peace of mind for my pet. Its not like this is a normal issue. it was an emergency visit and follow up care.

Wonderful ongoing support

I wasn't sure that I needed to get insurance for my kitty, but I decided to after my sister's urging. I'm so glad I got it. My kitty, Stitches, has needed to have bloodwork monitoring since her second visit, for what now looks like a chronic condition. Doesn't seem like much, but it adds up. The cost will be there every six months, for most of her life. Trupanion, has her covered. Every time I've had a question or concern, there has been a kind and knowledgeable voice on the other end of the phone. All I can say is, "Thank you".

Healthy Paws

Our 2-year-old Cavachon hurt her left back leg. Unfortunately, she had to have TPLO surgery. Thankfully we have had Healthy Paws insurance coverage on her since she was a puppy. This was an unexpected injury, as well as expensive. Our policy has an annual 250.00 deductible, with an 80% reimbursement level. The surgery totaled 5364.00. After our annual 250.00 deductibles and, our 20% responsibility, we received a direct deposit reimbursement of 4041.44 from Healthy Paws within 4 days. I'm so thankful for Healthy Paws being recommended by my sister. I will always have Healthy Paws coverage on my fur babies. The low monthly cost is well worth the peace of mind of unforeseen things happening. Cheryl Lute
