Very impressed
Honestly, we were thinking about cancelling this insurance a few years ago because we received only $5 from a claim that should have been handled - however with our current situation with our dog, we've not only heard back so quickly but the money came into our bank account instantly as well. Very impressed.

Great pet insurance company
I have been with Trupanion for many years. They have been very reasonable with rate increase and it is not depends on how old your pet is and how many claim you submitted. Their pet policy is reasonable and claim processing is very fast. My Vet has a direct link with them and within minutes our claim and payment was processed. Highly recommend if you care about the health of your Pet.

My 8 year old Himalayan cat Winslow had a second bout of bladder stones. This time around it occurred on a holiday weekend, meaning that the emergency hospital we brought him to was unable to provide the surgery he needed until well after the holiday. They were able to unblock him with a catheter, and then we had to drive him to another hospital (2.5 hours away) for surgery. I ended up submitting claims from multiple hospitals for multiple procedures. I was delighted when I received reimbursement for these claims about 6 weeks later.... I expected it to take much longer, and wasn't even sure how much would be covered. I'm very pleased with the quick turnaround and reimbursement rate. Thank you!

I will be cancelling soon
Although your employees were very helpful and polite. I was disappointed to find out that they called our dogs condition preexisting. It ended up costing us $3000.00. We had got insurance because our last visit cost 8000.00 we were hoping to Alene some of the financial pressure but nothing was covered. Seems as though Trupanion will be able to link any illness to this first problem and never cover anything. I will be cancelling soon I think

After a lot of research this is the best insurance
Nationwide is the best pet insurance out there. My Vet had recommended National to me, but I still wanted to do a lot of research and chose National. I did not make a mistake they are great!! Payments are quick and always correct, no questions on my part Nationwide is very clear on reimbursement!
