Great to work with
I've had Trupanion for several years. I started with them because they were the only company, at that time, that would cover seniors for illnesses. I've had one dog with an immune mediated disease, one who ripped a huge hole in her front leg, and one who, at age 9, developed seizures due to hydrocephalus. All claims were paid quickly and with little trouble. I did have to get additional information about what was thought a pre-existing condition, but after my vet wrote an explanation, all was covered. A+

So responsive
I was submitting my first claim with Pets Best, and had a few questions. The representative on the phone answered them with ease. He was efficient, and very friendly! I'm very pleased that I chose an insurance company that is so responsive.

Terrific
I only have positive comments -the customer service, enrollment process, communication about claims, and fast payment make EMBRACE a good choice for anyone looking for pet insurance. My 9 month old Australian Shepherd puppy tore her hind leg tendons requiring surgery. I was concerned that the insurance would find something not to pay, however, all was covered (minus deductible and co-insurance). I highly recommend EMBRACE pet insurance.

Crucial to have as a responsible pet parent
I've had Healthy Paws for over a year now, for both our dogs. Our rescue pup had all the usual medical problems associated with abandoned pets so the vet visits were common the first 6 months. Thankfully Healthy Paws was there to cover every illness or accident he had. But our biggest relief came when our old Cocker Spaniel went lame due to a bad knee that needed immediate surgery. Without hesitation we took him in knowing Healthy Paws not only covered the surgical procedure, but the meds and, most importantly, all the post-op therapy he would need to recover and be able to use the leg again without difficulty. The costumer service was flawless and sympathetic to our pets' suffering, and were quick to issue each refund as the bills added up. Their follow-up inquiries after each of our pets' injuries were throughtful and very kind. Couldn't have hoped for a better insurance company to take care of our furry babies and we are grateful we found Healthy Paws to care for them as much as we do.
The week our Cocker Spaniel went into surgery I must have recommended this company to a dozen pet parents while at the clinics, to include my best friend who was looking for a trustworthy pet insurance. Everyone who loves their pet need to have a form of insurance that will cover medical bills, because no pet should be put down simply because one isn't able to cover a surgery that could save them and prevent further pain.

They care
Helped me out a little on my Danes accident, not too much. Even though they did take a long time to review and pay me back, they showed a significant amount on how much they cared.

Highly recommend Pets Best
After another well known pet insurance company "let me down" after being with them for 10 years, I turned to Pets Best. Pets Best took on my 3 senior age dogs with no questions asked. Pets Best has allowed me to to provide a good quality life for my old dogs without me having to go into debt covering all the costs of their old age illnesses. I recently had to put down two of my old dogs, but because of Pets Best Insurance, I had at least a full year more with them and for that I am grateful.

Compassionate interest and care.
My wife and I were very impressed with the level of compassion all of the Trupanion associates showed for our dog, Apollo. He broke one of his K9 teeth off at the jaw line and had to have 3 procedures to repair. They were very understanding and willing to help. They worked with us and the vet to ensure everything was covered before we proceeded. Spending $3500 for a dog tooth is a lot of money, but knowing the insurance was there to help allowed us to focus on getting Apollo back to his playful self.

Great coverage & customer service
I've had very positive experiences with Embrace. I realized the need for pet insurance about 5 years ago when my dog started getting nose bleeds and the vet recommended a $1900 MRI to diagnose what turned out to be a nasal tumor. Never again did I want to make a life-or-death decision concerning my 4-legged babies based on how much money I had in my savings account. I knew the cost of the insurance premium would eventually pay for itself, and it did when my dog tore her ACL and needed major surgery. The pre-certification confirmed Embrace's claim... "everything is covered" except the RX (and that was by choice). I can't imagine having a dog in my family without pet insurance now... it's a real anxiety reducer!
