Process is very easy and quick

Our puppy ate a sock
Our puppy ate a sock and it got stuck in her intestines. I spent hours at the vet and ultimately she needed to stay the night. I had two claims, one at her regular vet and another at the ER. Trupainion paid their portion on the spot, saving me from the headache of submitting claims and getting reimbursed. And 90% paid?! WOW, beyond grateful!

THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU
My dog saw an emergency vet a year and a half ago for blood in her urine because she played too hard and suffered some trauma. Now, my dog is having UTI problems, completely and obviously unrelated. Trupanion is claiming I am ineligible because of the blood in her urine even though that was TRAUMA and this is an actual illness. I pay trupanion to help me with the $500 cost of this treatment and they refuse to cover it. THIS COMPANY STEALS YOUR MONEY AND WILL FIND ANY REASON POSSIBLE TO NOT COVER CLEARLY COVERED ILLNESSES IN YOUR POLICY.
