Fantastic Service!
My 2 year old dachshund, Izzy, suddenly started making a gagging/choking sound. We rushed her to our local vet, where they did Xrays. Nothing definitive was seen in her throat but there was some swelling and air. She sent us straight to the specialty hospital for a scope to see if there was anything there. They only found swelling and a possible area that could have been a bee sting and sent her home. The following day she was extremely depressed and down and I thought she was mad at me and pouting. The next day it was obvious she was VERY sick. Back to the local vet and she was immediately put on IV fluids and strong antibiotics. She spent the day in the hospital again and came home on antibiotics and within 24 was back to herself. Needless to say this was a very expensive venture and thanks to my Embrace policy the biggest majority was covered! I have never used my policy and was so pleased with the ease of filing and the quick payment. I recommend Embrace to everyone I know! It's peace of mind that you can do everything possible to make your babies better!

So glad I choose Healthy Paws!
We've never had pet insurance before but when we got our goldendoodle puppy we decided that it might be a good idea. We researched all of the different options and chose to go with Healthy Paws pet insurance because we liked all the different options, you get to choose your deductible and your reinbersment percentage. Our goldendoodle is now about 11 months old and had his first emergency on July 23, 2013. Of course it was after our regular vets hours, so he had to go to the emergency vet. Realizing that he was definitely sick and also knowing that we had pet insurance made us not even hesitate for a second to take him in to emergency. We knew that his care would be expensive but we also knew that the majority of his care would be reimbursed to us.
Turns out he ate some mushrooms that were in the yard they treated him and he came home to us the very next day, thank goodness. We faxed over a copy of the emergency vet bill to healthy paws, our reimbursement check was in the mail to us July 31. I think that is an amazing turn around time!
I think Healthy paws pet insurance is one of the smartest things we've done with our new puppy, the minimal amount that you pay every month is well worth it when you have an emergency! Healthy Paws pet insurance was amazing to deal with I can't say enough good things about them!

Healthy Pet Insurance is AMAZING!!!
I can't say enough good things about Healthy Paws Insurance. Every claim that has been submitted to them has been looked at within 24 hours and I have had a check in my hand within a week or two at the most. The staff at Healthy Paws is incredible. After each surgery, they have checked in with me to see how my dog is doing. They care so much about the animals that are insured through them. If you don't have insurance for your dog yet, you should. It has been such a help for me when determining if I could afford to have the surgery my dog so needed. Between my vet and healthy paws, my dog is taken really care of. I love these guys!!!! I have recommended healthy paws to all my dog owner friends and every one has bought insurance from them.

So far no doubt in our choice with Embrace
We recently brought our Mastador Kevin into our family and decided to give pet insurance a try. So far we have had 1 wellness claim that was smooth and quick. Unfortunately we have had one accident claim which is in process, and have confidence it will be just as easy. All forms are user friendly and contact with customer service has been very efficient.

Very straighforward, excellent customer service!
We have been with Embrace Pet Insurance for about 8 months now, and it has given me major peace of mind in terms of our numerous vet appointments with our puppy!
We have spent quite a pretty penny at the vet this last year, and have been reimbursed for 80% of every dollar that we've spent, no questions asked, no long drawn out phone calls, no haggling, simply a check in the bank.
Phone calls to their customer service workers have always been very pleasant. Lindsey usually answers my calls, and always stays on the line as long as I need. Never have I felt rushed.
Compared to other plans, where reimbursement amounts vary based on the procedure, Embrace has completely exceeded my expectations, staying true to the rates/reimbursement amounts in my contract from day 1.
I recommend Embrace to all of my friends/family, and wish I had added my other dog when he was younger! So far, finding an insurance plan for an older dog with many pre-existing conditions hasn't worked out. But for our young dog, boy am I thankful!

Trupanion saved Phoebe's life!
One late Sunday night my beautiful standard poodle a mere 2 years old began acting very strange. I was afraid, she acted as if she had a stroke, walking into the walls not responding to my calls. What to do but to take her to the hospital where they proceeded to admit her.The next morning the vet called, he wanted to do a CT scan, a sonogram and blood work. Two days later the results a huge abcess behind her left eye.
Four weeks later after several more vet visits and alot of antibiotics Phoebe is a new dog! Begging to fetch the ball wanting to get up and go.Well as for me the total bill mounted up to almost seven thousand dollars, thank god I had pet insurance! Trupanion has been beyond wonderful, very responsive paying ninety percent of her medical expenses. Compassionate, fast a Godsend. I highly recommend Trupanion please tell all your pet loving friends about Trupanion.

Great service, great support
I initially purchased Embrace insurance for my dog after hearing good reviews from other owners. I forgot I had the insurance until I really needed it - an emergency life and death bloat surgery that would have cost me $5000. Embrace covered it quickly - minus my deductible - and I was incredibly grateful to have that kind of coverage in a traumatic situation. Since then Embrace has covered various issues for my dog as he ages with no problems. The form is easy to submit through my vet's office, I get an email letting me know my claim is being processed and typically get another email telling me the coverage amount and letting me know the check is on the way - all within about two weeks. I've called with questions and always get a helpful person on the line, no automated system or waiting on hold. Great service all around.

We should have known!
My husband signed up for this insurance because they made it sound so simple. Just send in your bills and they will be paid. It has been nothing but a hassle since we started needing it. I'm sure the vet even hates to see us come in. McKassie was taken to the vet due to lesions on her nose, a biopsy was done and she was diagnosed with lupus. First claim was sent in under wellness claim. Insurance deemed it was not a wellness claim as vet wrote in the observation box what his findings were. Embrace did deduct this amount from the deductible. Next claim was for the biopsey under anesthesia this claim was applied to deductible. When results returned vet ordered medication which was picked up by family member. Had to take McKassie back to vet due to bleeding gums and bruising on body, at this time I had him fill out form for meds that he had ordered along with this visit. He filled this form out as a wellness visit. This time embrace didn't even add this office visit to the deductible. On the "basic wellness rewards" info we printed off the site it says routine care wellness exams & office visits are covered. Apearantly going to the vet isn't an office visit? Between our health insurance and our dogs insurance it is a full time job of paper work.It is hard to give an overall rating as we haven't used any other pet insurance.
