Embrace is absolutely wonderful
I am so happy I did enroll my kitties a few years ago. Over the last 2 years two of them has serious health issues, cancer and kidney failure. Having Embrace was literally a life saver. They did cover the claims, the entire process from claim submission to payment is smooth and very quick.
We couldnt do it without health insurance
A BIG THANK YOU to Embrace

MORE THAN I COULD HAVE ASKED FOR.....
I want to offer a testimonial to Healthy Paws (HP) pet insurance company. In February of 2016 I rescued Daphne, a 10-year-old toy poodle, from the local “kill shelter”. As a condition for enrollment I took Daphne to our local Veterinarian for a standard “nose-to-toes” physical evaluation. Fortunately, Daphne got a clean bill of health and I went ahead and enrolled her with HP.
I had never purchased pet insurance since I am very skeptical of the industry. Statements of benefits that appear too good to be true usually are. But having had several uninsured pets I thought it might be the prudent thing to do so I did my due diligence and investigated several companies before ultimately deciding to go with HP. Boy am I glad I did!
You could say I’m a “loving, responsible, exhaust all means possible, fur-baby parent” (without consideration to cost as long as medical options do not compromise quality of life). In the past I have spent a small fortune for the care and treatment of my “Girls” without having the financial relief that a good pet insurance company provides. For example, I spent nearly $25,000 over a two-year period of time before Tutu, my mini Schnauzer, finally succumbed to congestive heart failure at the age of eight.
Back to Daphne’s story, she was the classic “circus poodle” with a ton of energy and an incredible zest for life. People were amazed when they learned that she was a “senior” of 10 years of age. Making a long story short, in December of 2016 (just after her 11th birthday), Daphne was diagnosed with TCC (Transitional Cell Carcinoma), a very aggressive form of the disease.
Thank goodness for Healthy Paws! All the incredible benefits that were stated in their policy declaration page were in fact, truthful. Customer service was “top shelf” and the HP representatives couldn’t have been more helpful and compassionate. In the seven month’s that Daphne struggled with her illness there was never an issue with any claim forms submitted. And as unbelievable as this might sound, an explanation of benefits was usually provided within 24 hours if not sooner. (Note: I submitted claims as attachments via email).
One final thing you might like to consider before making a decision if Healthy Paws is right for you. Not too long after Daphne passed away I received a phone call and an email from HP expressing their sympathy and offering condolences for my loss. I was totally caught off-guard by this. It was truly an act “above and beyond the

I Am Seriously Thinking Of Cancel...
I am seriously thinking of cancelling my insurance with pets best, because I rarely ever get reimbursement on a claim, because of the $500 deductible per incident/illness......not worth the $25.00 per month that can go towards the vet bills that I am paying.

I think Trupanion failed on my claim to be covered for Bruno's possible early renal disease.
I think Trupanion failed on my claim to be covered for Bruno's possible early renal disease. He was denied coverage even though there was no diagnosis of anything before he was insured. And he had only a slightly elevated creatinine which could have been caused by a myriad of factors. There was no pre-existing condition before he was insured. You will take your premiums, but you will make every effort to deny a claim if you think you can get away with it...no matter how tenuous the defense. In my case, you are plain and simply wrong. What good is an insurance company that tries to squirm out of legitimate claims when you need them? As a lawyer and customer, I can't endorse a company that will deny any clam they think they can get away with. It's not coverage.
