Trupanion is terrible

Trupanion is just like any human insurance company. When someone gets sick, they look for ways not to pay.

Fast processing again!

I've used Embrace Insurance for over 3 years and they're payment history has been flawless. I would recommend them to all pet owners. A couple of years ago there were some changes and they were taking a long time (40 - 60 days) to pay a claim but that's all been fixed and my last two claims were made in under 2 weeks! That is awesome efficiency! Please keep it up!

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is highly recommendable

We have had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for about 6 months now for our little one year old frenchie and we could not be happier. Our frenchie recently had to undergo a major emergency surgery and we were so grateful to have Healthy Paws pet insurance for him, what a blessing. We were able to have the critical care clinic perform all procedures needed to save our frenchie and get him back to normal because we are with Healthy Paws. We even heard the critical care clinic recommend Healthy Paws to another customer there asking about pet insurance! Healthy Paws emailed us on the weekend a note sending hugs to our frenchie, I was so positively surprised, I would have never expected anything like this from a pet insurance. They have a very personal style of communicating and are very compassionate. On the claim submission process, Healthy Paws has been very easy to deal with while being extremely fast, one day after submitting any invoices we receive a response, and the check is in the mail 2-3 days later. Only for the first claim they require the full medical records of your pet which your vet will handle for you. Afterwards only invoices need to be submitted. Submitting your invoices your vet will also handle for you if you leave a blank claim form at your vets office; so really, there is no work for you after you printed and signed the claim form and gave to your vet. We only remind the vet of submitting the form and that has been all it took. When you go to a new hospital

Wonderul Company

One dog with ACL surgery and 2 cats - one with basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma and resultant tail and toe amputations. The company is very responsive and immediately processes claims and payments. I just wish I had had such a caring and competent insurance company for my serious illnesses!

Solid Insurance Plan

My experiences with Healthy Paws has been exceptionally good. I would agree with many of the positive posters that most of the negative comments seem to be from people that did not read or understand the terms of the policy. Recently my boxer tore her CCL and required surgery to insert a metal plate and screws. Healthy Paws processed the claim quickly (the check arrived prior to the credit card bill) and even helped obtain her medical records from a different vet. Per the policy the vet examinations were not covered but I purchased the policy to cover the big ticket items, so 90% of the surgery and therapy visits are covered (after the deductible). I am very happy with the service I have received and I believe their explanations of the benefits have been spot on.

Timely response. Good communication.

I appreciate the email telling me how much of my claim was covered, and how much is remaining of my deductible.

Continued great service

I've had my new pup for 9 months now and Embrace continues to provide great service! It takes a little longer for regular claims (so far I've only had one) than it does for a Wellness reimbursement, but there were no complications and both went through as expected.

Follow-up from claims

I love how quickly they handles the claims and take care of everything to make ours lives easier. My one complaint. the office exams, I don't understand routine exams or the inital ones not being covered, but when trying to figure what is wrong, there should be a discount or something with the follow-up or referral exams from another doctor. Example when we went back in for the internal medicine doctor, everything else was covered but the exam part. I had already paid for the inital exams from the normal vet.

Fair Reimbursement, Great Customer Service

I've had Embrace for a little over a year now. Our dog was vomiting, feeling very sick and was diagnosed with Pancreatitis. I am pleased with how Embrace responded to our claims. After meeting our deductible, we were reimbursed the amount due to us promptly. I really like having the peace of mind knowing I've got Embrace there to help us provide the best care for our dog we can when the unexpected happens. He is part of the family and it is great to be able to focus on what's best for his health care. I definitely recommend Embrace and will definitely continue to have dog insurance for my pets in the future too. I strongly recommend that you carefully choose pet insurance and read the fine print before making a commitment. I am very happy with my choice.
