Great Customer Service
My dog required surgery for an injured knee and Trupanion was excellent from the first day! First of all, I could call anytime (day or night) and a customer service rep was there to assist me. They suggested I fill out a pre-approval form to ensure the surgery would be covered. The process was simple and Trupanion provided me not only with an answer, but a break down of what they would cover and what my costs would be within 48 hours of my pre-approval submission. Once the surgery was complete and my claims form was submitted, Trupanion had a check in the mail; which I received about 6 days after the claim. So difficult to find great customer service and a notification system like Trupanion offers.

5 star service
I adopted my dog Mickey as a rescue and shortly after getting insurance he started to have cronic vomiting issues. With around 10 vet visits to date since April 2015 embrace has covered most if not all with no hesitation. He has been undergoing tests which have reviled liver issues. Due to this He has also had a ultrasound and ct scan both of which were covered. It's very unfortunate that he's not even 2 years old and he has had these issues. But after spending 4k on my last dog during his last year of life, I will never regret getting this insurance.

Thank you Embrace!!!
I have had Embrace Insurance for about a year and half now and I have nothing but positive things to say. I have insured my two dogs and have had to use the insurance several times. The process is always so easy and the claims come back very quickly. I have had positive experiences with every employee I have spoken with, and could not be more pleased with their responses. This company is unlike any other I have ever worked with. They truly care about their costumers and understand that your pets are a member of your family. I will stay with Embrace for many years to come!

Great coverage - great service
Have had nothing but great service from Trupanion. I get emails when the claims are received, when they are processed and when they are finalized. And this whole process is usually done within 2 weeks of the claim being filed. Customer service when needed (very rare) has been exceptional.

BEST INSURANCE PLAN EVER!!!
Trupanion has been providing the most wonderful coverage I could ask for during my Greyhound Buttercups' diagnosis and treatment for thyroid cancer. This has been ongoing since Feb. 2015 and if not for their amazing support, I would have fallen apart. From the first vet bill onward, they have contacted me to be sure that all was going well, they've covered what they promised to cover, and best of all, I am able to receive Buttercup's benefits at the point of care, rather than having to pay up front and submitting for reimbursement!!I expect that not all vet offices have established protocols for submission to Trupanion to determine coverage and allow immediate application to the bill, but my provider does and it is a Godsend when I am emotional because of a my dogs cancer diagnosis.
I have spoken to a representative on multiple occasions and they have sent me wonderful personal email communications, too.
I have had other insurance policies that were good, but this company is GREAT. REALLY.

Disappointing and frustrating!
I will say that Embrace has an EXCELLENT customer service team. I have called about a dozen times and have only gotten one person who was not as bubbly and friendly as an over-caffeinated Starbucks barista. They have always been prompt about processing wellness claims for me.
But recently my dog needed exploratory abdominal surgery and then a GI biopsy. She was diagnosed with tapeworms around the same time, too. After the surgery, she had a few minor complications and her total vet bills reached about $1300-$1400. It has taken Embrace over a MONTH to even process her claims, and they incorrectly processed the claim with her surgery on it (~$1000). I incorrectly submitted the claim by including two different invoices on the same claim, but after at least 5 calls to check on claim statuses, no one told me that only one invoice could be approved per claim. I figured that out myself after her claim for the surgery and tapeworm treatment was approved for $90 (which was only the tapeworm treatment). It has been a month since I sent these documents in, and I had to call again to get them to work on the claim for her surgery.
I really wanted to love Embrace, and until now I did, but I feel like I've had to pester and push them every step of the way in this process. Their customer service team is always polite and appears to be helpful, but 33 days later, I'm still waiting for my dog's surgery claim to be covered--actually, just REVIEWED.
I've enjoyed working with them in the past for wellness claims, but when I really needed them, they left me out to dry.

Embrace has saved us!
My precious baby of 7 years was being treated because a form of Adenocarcinoma was found on the top of her head. The surgery, multiple trips to the vet and oncologist have been tedious and outrageously expensive, but Embrace has held to their word. They have covered the appropriate expenses from her treatments and visits and they do everything in a very timely manner. The most recent deposit was made without my knowing because it occurred much sooner than I expected. I am so grateful that we chose Embrace Pet Insurance to cover and protect our pet, it is one of the best decisions we have made.

Our Fur Buddy is doing Great.
On the 11th of August 2015 our dog Boomer had surgery for a completely torn ACL His second surgery this year. In February he had a 5 pound tumor removed and also has been using joint medication for arutritus which was also paid for by healthy Paws insurance. The people at Healthy Paws are definately animal friendly and the insurance is second to none. In 2015 we paid out about $2900 dollars and Healthy Paws has paid us about $2400 back. Thank goodness for Healthy Paws.
