That was quick

We had an unexpected visit to the vet in February, and then a follow up visit @ 3 weeks later. Nationwide processed both claims same day, even though one was entered weeks later. That meant we got the 2 checks on the same day, didn't have to wait a couple of weeks for 2nd. That was very nice and appreciated

Payment turn over

Nationwide is the best thing I ever did for my dog. I could never have afforded the care he needed in his first year and a half so the outcome would have been heartbreaking. My only complaint is the time it takes to get reimbursed, especially for simple office visits with vaccines. I can understand that a more involved procedure would require more time to review but the routine charges could be processed much quicker. That is my only complaint and again, i’m So glad I made the decision to go with Nationwide! I recommend Nationwide to every dog owner I know!

Surprisingly Easy to Use and Makes Total Sense for Us

Despite the fact that we have a senior dog with a laundry list of pre-existing conditions, this plan has paid for itself and more. I can submit claims straight from my phone, which is huge. The hardest part is having to call my vet a couple of days after the visit to get the medical notes and it does usually take about 30 days to get the reimbursement, but so far I haven't had to argue about anything I've submitted. The only thing easier would be if Nationwide worked directly with my vet, but for the price I'm happy with the peace of mind it has provided us since we worry far less about how much the trips to the vet will cost.

Best insurance I have ever used

When I purchased this insurance I never thought I would need it. Turned out I needed it for my Newfoundland puppy. The people have been great and the refund has been excellent. These is no long waiting for it.

Absolutely easy process

My experience with ASPCA pet insurance company has been absolutely wonderful. From choosing a policy, to adding a new dog to our policy, the claims process and receiving our claim it was always a smooth process. I researched companies and different policies and finally obtained a policy with ASPCA and have been more than satisfied with my decision.

Very difficult

The first customer service rep did not listen to one thing that i said to her in regards to my claim. In fact she actually talked down to me on some of the line items that i did not understand. Before I called i had spoken to my Vet who had told me that the charges were incorrect and that many of the non-covered charges were for the teeth cleaning and not the growth removal. I did speak to a supervisor who told me that they would review the claim again and get back to me in 30-days. Brian McGowan 508-380-9927
