I am so happy I picked Embrace for my insurance. Everything is easy to get reimbursed. I have always feared dealing with insurance companies. Most of the time they put you through so many steps. They make my busy life easy.

My dog has allergies and she is on medication. I have to refill her prescription every month and the reimbursement is most helpful.

Please be more specific about why claims are denied

After having my dog insured at another pet insurance company for first 10 years of her life I decided to cancel their insurance due to increasing annual premium and not have insurance for my dog. I did this for one year then I decided to find an insurance for my dog again due to her age nearing 12 years and health issues that will follow naturally due to her age. I found Pet Embrace insurance from online from favorable review and premium was one of the lowest out there for the coverage amount. Within three months of having Pet Embrace Insurance my dog got diagnosed with sheath nerve tumor on the nerve of her brain. She went through many diagnostics to find the cause...full blood work, x-ray scan, but ultimately MRI found the culprit. It was not cheap for diagnoses I mentioned. I had zero issue with the claim and it was paid out rapidly. Pet Embrace staffs were very friendly and genuinely concerned with my dog's wellbeing. Next step for my dog is radiation treatment if I decide to go that route and Pet Embrace has already told me that radiation treatment will be covered and they are there to support me whatever decision I take from now. It's great to know Pet Embrace Insurance is behind me and knowing that they will insure me on expensive radiation therapy is a huge relief. I can’t thank them enough for what they have done for me so far and full support they will give as I evaluate what is best for my dear family member. These guys have been so great to work with. I have a yellow lab that I adopted 1.5 yr ago. Since then he's been to the vet for dozens of different things. Embrace makes the process so smooth an easy to submit a claim. A reimbursement check was lost in the mail and they didn't question it. They sent me a new. I appreciate the professionalism and outstanding customer service theyve provided. I have and will recommend them to every pet owner I know.

It would have been nice to have someone tell me why my claim was denied instead of me having to figure it out myself

Based on my experience with HP, I was shocked to see how many delighted pet owners--100's! Wish I could say the same. After satisfying all requirements, my 2 year old Maltese mix got violently ill after eating from a new bag of Costco pet Food, necessitating several trips to her vet and emergency care. I submitted all required documentation and was told several times, I had to re-submit. Was stuff being filed properly? This went on for a couple of months. Many excuses. In the end, no real reimbursement. Was told, "We don't cover exams." Based on my experience I could not recommend.

The turnaround time from submitting to payment notification was really quick. I have no complaints, nor do I regret buying PetsBest for Charlie.
