Our little Boxer had a life-threatening bout with IMT after her spay. Thankfully, she survived, but her bills were in excess of $4K. Trupanion processed each claim within one week of submission and our reimbursement checks arrived just as fast. This is one of the best investments we've ever made! We love our pets and are so pleased to have a reasonably priced tool that helps us take care of them responsibly and completely. I only wish our human health insurance worked so well!

Our boxer Billie became very ill last December with ITP, an autoimmune disease where the body destroys its own blood platelets. She's been hospitalized three times since then, requiring multiple blood transfusions and costly medications. Her medical bills have totaled over $13,000 so far. I don't know what we would have done without Healthy Paws Insurance, which has covered everything they said they would: 80% of all costs (excluding physicians' fees) after the $250 deductible. The online claim process has been easy and convenient, and they have processed each claim quickly, sending me a check for each claim within weeks. They respond quickly to email, and their phone representatives have been helpful and caring. Billie's health concerns are ongoing, and she requires expensive medication. Because Healthy Paws has no annual or per-incident cap, we have peace of mind. We researched carefully before we purchased pet insurance, and our experience is consistent with the fact that this company has been rated Best Pet Insurance for three years running. I only wish our human health insurance was this good....

I've had healthy paws since 2011 and it was by far the best insurance decision I've made for my fur baby.My pup is incredibly active and recently tore his Cruciate ligament.... a surgery costing several thousand dollars to correct. The surgeon the vet initially recommended had a horrible bed side manner, didn't spend any time with me or my pet to explain the operation and only gave me the least expensive option. Having Healthy Paws not only help eased the financial burden of this cost, but also gave me peace of mind to choose a qualified surgeon, who's fees were slightly more expensive, but well worth it in the long run as my pup is recovering nicely and according the surgeon, AHEAD of schedule. Having Healthy Paws allowed us to choose the best available care, they processed the claims in record time and they even followed up to check on his procedure. I wouldn't have a pet without this insurance to support my fur family. A++

I love that it's very easy to submit claims using the app on my iPad. I also love that we get so much back on each claim without hassles. Our pet had a chronic infection that required several visits in 4 months and we didn't have to pay much out of pocket. In one month we saw the vet 10 times, so you can imagine how often we had to submit a claim. When the treatments weren't working we had to resort to a major surgery and having this insurance saved us so much money. We only ended up paying 200 dollars out of the 1,800. It was very sweet when healthy paws sent a follow up email checking up on my dog. I would highly recommend this insurance. You'll often see the check within 2 weeks of submitting so you won't have to worry about waiting forever to see the insurance money.

When we brought Suzy, our Boston Terrier, home a little over a year ago, I decided to research pet insurance. After studying and comparing companies, I decided Embrace was the one for Suzy. I am so thankful that I made this decision!! Like everyone else, I'm sure, I purchased the insurance never dreaming that we would have to use it during the first year. Unfortunately, Suzy has had to have surgery on both hindlegs due to luxated patellas and a ruptured cruciate ligament. I got this puppy and I have no idea about what all the ups and downs that come along I just know that I love him like no other .. Thankfully very good friends of mine who are pet parents have some great advice - get pet insurance.. The park mans tell me of all the research they did and their experience of kissing a cat because they did have insurance and could not afford a possible life saving surgery.. They recommend Trupanion and tell me how helpful and reliable trupanion has been for their second cat. Well after hearing this I go sign up my react puppy Leo.. Leo is mostly heathy and did not have any signs of illness at all.. As he has grown I started noticing a few thinks start to take place that I can explains like pain and sleepiness.. I take him straight in to the doc to learn that he has hip dysplasia and will need a full replacement:( Luckily trupanion was their to walk me through the proses and get Leo pre approved Leo can get his needed surgery that will give him a better more comfortable life!! They ate caring and do all they can to help and being available 24 hours I could call at any times with questions

Pets Best is awesome. This is the first time I have had to file a claim on my dog and I must say that I was very doubtful that Pets Best would be as good as their website indicated. I am very happy with the reimbursement.
