Overall, having this insurance has been somewhat helpful for my dog as it seems as though he's prone to autoimmune disorders. That being said, I find that I often have to fight for things to be covered. I have many times had claims for his medications denied after years of having it approved, and I then need to call and go up the ladder to "prove" that his medications are not vitamins, not supplements, and indeed are required in order to sustain life. Overall, I wish I could switch insurance plans however that is no longer an option due to his disorders. So while I am happy to get some of my claims refunded, overall I find that this insurance company is probably not the best one that I could have chosen. I chose it simply because I had an employee discount.

Great communication
We have 2 Boston Terrier puppies and we have been able to utilize both our Wellness Plans but also our Emergency plans with Pets Best. Every time we need to file a claim we are able to and payment is returned promptly. And whether the amount is paid back in debit,. place to our deductible, it is always communicated to us. The only thing I would change is the Wellness plan and that is to be able to see what we have already used as we would not send in for claims that we may not receive payment for.

Amazing, caring company with very fast turnaround time!
My dog requires herbal supplements that are pricey. Had it not been for Trupanion, I wouldn't never be able to afford them on my own. Trupanion has been wonderful! Their representatives are never quick to push you aside. A company where you don't feel like just another number!

When I needed it most, Trupanion was there to help.
It was so easy dealing with Trupanion. The hospital processed all the billing and Trupanion was the one insurance on display. I received my reimbursement without delay.

Easy to submit claims, and they are very responsive!
Great service so far! However, I do get confused why the same type of visit might be covered one time, then not another. Other than that, very reasonable.

They are very quick and responsive! Submitting a claim is super easy too!
I've been very happy with Trupanion. She twisted her knee and needed TPLO surgery and they've been quick and responsive with reimbursing us for covered expenses. We're very glad we have this insurance!!

My vet recommended this company
I was able to file my claim as soon as the I paid the invoice, I did this while I was waiting for Vlad to come out of the hospital. This helped me not forget with everything that was going on. I uploaded all that was needed and did not hear from anyone while reviewing then my claim was paid out within about 2 weeks. The choice the bring him in was made after chatting with the 24/7 advice line which has been extremely helpful to me as a new dog owner to a strong willed dog! I am very happy my vet recommended this company.

Great Insurance Company, Great Experience Always
