We've had insurance through Embrace for a couple years now and are completely satisfied with the service they provide. I can't speak to the cost comparison with other companies as this is the first one we chose for our dogs. What I can say is that all claims are taken care of in a prompt manner. If there are any questions, we can get in contact with someone who will answer those questions with a smile on their face the whole time. Embrace even covers your other than average therapies. Our dog tore her tendon in her leg and we were able to get a brace for her along with stem cell injections and physical therapy. It was all covered! We also receive monthly newsletters with helpful safety and informative items in it. Lastly, I have received personal emails from the company following up on payments and asking about their level of service to us. I would highly recommend Embrace to any pet owner.

I have had Healthy paws insurance for my dog since 2013, knowing that there was a possibility at some point that she would need medical treatment I could not afford on my own. I pay $33 a month and have a 90/10 split with Healthy Paws which came in really handy when my dog started developing partial seizures and needed some very expensive tests in order to confirm her diagnosis. I like that I didn't have to choose between my dogs health and going broke. Healthy paws processed the claim within 4 days and mailed me a check within a week. I have never had a problem trying to get them to cover something, or had them split hairs over what could be covered. Highly recommend to any pet owner looking to insure their pet.

Having a new puppy is expensive and knowing what kind of mischief they can get into, I decided on pet insurance. Sure enough, 6 months old and he gets gastritis and is one miserable pup. Embrace has been wonderfully supportive and our claims were processed within 5 days of them receiving the claims. Thank you and I would recommend Embrace to my friends.

I'll admit I probably spent a crazy amount of time researching Pet insurance companies but I know it’s paid off. Once I started thinking about our dogs getting sick or severely hurt, I knew I didn’t want our hesitations to be financially based. We would without a doubt spend all we could to help them, but wouldn’t it be nice if we didn’t have to?Enter Pet insurance.. I did a ton of research. From pre-existing condition guidelines, hereditary coverage, lifetime or yearly caps, to hip dysplasia, I read it all. I read reviews, I called companies and asked questions, I read blogs, and I asked my vet. I receive a substantial discount through work for one company and felt so strongly about my research that we decided to use a different company (that should say something!). I didn’t want “cheap” insurance; I wanted reliable coverage that was a good value. I didn’t want to pay a large amount each month to never get anything out of it when needed. Healthy Paws has proved to be just that and has exceeded all expectations. We now have two dogs (large mix breeds - 1 Lab mix and 1 German Shepard mix) that are 6 years old and they have been covered for 2+ years. Our most recent scenario required us to submit our largest claim to date. Our lab at a small rug (he’s not even a chewer!) and it became anchored in his intestines. Of course this happened on a Sunday when our normal vet was not open. Thankfully, we have a nearby fantastic (yet pricey) emergency hospital that was able to check out our Bentley quickly. After having X-Ray’s completed they were able to confirm that parts of the rug were anchored and needed to be surgically removed. We were given the estimate range of cost and signed away. 3 days later, Bentley was almost as good as new and able to come home. Two weeks later, he’s currently enjoying not having to wear the cone of shame or taking multiple medicines a day. This was not our first time submitting a claim but it was as easy as ever and we received our reimbursement around a week later in the mail. We have 80% coverage with a $250 deductible and instead of Bentley’s surgery costing us $5,500 (which was our final bill); we only paid $1,300 since we had not hit our deductible prior to this incident for the year. SO thankful as we’re about to close on a new home and would have had to reduce our down payment because of this if we didn’t have insurance. Texas A & M Veterinary Hospital filed our claim for our dogs intestinal obstruction with Embrace and within a week we heard it was processed. We are very pleased with the care we have been given.

I have 2 dogs with another company. They charge deductible for every different illness. The last claim still hasn't been resolved 5 months later. None of these problems happen with our 1 year old pup. I would change today and insure the others with embrace if they didn't have chronic preexisting ailments. Very pleased with Embrace for new dog. Live and learn.

I did a lot of research on pet insurance. I was getting a great Dane and knew I'd need it. One other Dane owner had blogged that Embrace was his top choice. When I went to my vet, she said they had also researched companies and Embrace came out on top. I didn't have to wait long to use it, he got a double ear infection! The paperwork was easy and after submitting medical history-he was a rescue so they took what we had-they quickly approved my claim and my check is on it's way! Very painless and made his medical attention affordable. Have almost made back the premiums already! Will definitely keep and considering adding my other pets as well.

Our little girl was older but without health issues when we adopted her. We thought it prudent to invest in health insurance for her and have been very happy and grateful for the prompt service of ASPCA pet insurance with her recent health issues.
