Couldn't be more pleased

Every time I deal with Embrace (and it seems to be a lot lately) I am left with a good feeling. I feel like my two pups are in great hands. What a relief to know that I have a responsive, caring, top-notch insurance company for my pets. I only wish they would do human insurance.

So Grateful we had insurance!

Six weeks after adopting our terrier puppy, she swallowed a turkey bone. It was Thanksgiving so we had to take her to the emergency pet center. They X-rayed her and it turned out she had swallowed the bone whole, and it was taking up her entire stomach! She spent the night on IVs, but had to have an endoscopy the next morning to get the bone out. I was so glad we had insurance! Out of the total $1,780 bill for Skye's care, we wound up paying only $488 (our $100 deductible, the doctor visits, and the 10% copay). Throughout the process, the medical center kept saying, "We would like to do x, but that will cost $y. Is that feasible for you?" And I kept saying, yes, I have insurance. Uploading the invoices was super easy. It took a bit of a back and forth getting my medical records sent to Healthy Paws but the whole team was extremely friendly, patient, and proactive helping me resolve an issue that was caused by confusing billing by the pet hospital. I received my reimbursement checks well before my credit card statement came, so now I will have the funds to make the payment without any problem. I am so so grateful we went ahead and got insurance and did not have to make decisions between love for our pet and the limitations of our bank account! I would definitely recommend this insurance to anyone. It actually surprises me how many people go without insurance given all the crazy things that can happen with a pet.

Never cursed so much over the phone EVER!

Here's some background, for 3 years my dog was losing fur and itchy VERY itch. I had been in and out of the vet office so much I felt like I lived there. Each time the doctor would tell me it was allergies, after look at my bald, coned up dog I decided to get him to a specialist. I knew I would cost me so I decided to get insurance to see if we could at least get discounts on his treatment. So I called Embrace and said "I want to take my dog to a specialist because I don't think this is allergies. Once we get a diagnoses would we be covered?" person over the phone said yes because we would have a proper diagnoses. I get my dog to a specialist and he has eczema! We paid for the skin scrape, several other tests and medication. Send in the forms and were rejected. Why? Eczema is under the same umbrella as allergies which he had a diagnoses for, mind you the vet said it was environmental allergies. I when I repeated what was originally told to me they said “we have no recording of that conversation because you were not a member then” well the reason I became a member was based on that FIRST conversation! I canceled my policy right there because I felt I was lied to. So I dropped them and my original vet that day.

Feel relieved knowing I have Nationwide Pet Ins.

I got the Major Medical Coverage after my few month old kitty broke his paw. Now a couple years later I have two cats (a two year old and a 6 month old). I made sure to have insurance for both of them just in case anything happens. I have submitted a claim every time I went to the vet for any reason. They respond with a friendliness and thorough explanation if it is not covered. So make sure to read what is included and what is not! All and all I am greatful for Nationwide Pet Insurance and will continue using them for my kitties!! :) ***I've been compensated by Nationwide for my HONEST review***

Couldn't believe it.

So I bring my pet in for a wellness visit and an ear infection, just to learn nothing is covered at all I had gotten the highest tier account I could get. Well now after $300 I am told that I don't have this and don't have that. This is now 2 months after my claim was initiated I couldn't believe how long this was taking. Now I'm told I can pay more per month (an unknown amount at this point) to get wellness coverage that I was led to believe I had already had! But great to know now her anxiety created this ear infection and they won't cover her anxiety. She is a GSD they all have anxiety. I am left here wondering why I pay this company $30 a month when I could just save that money and pay the 300 in the first place just to the vet?and save myself $60 oh wait that would be $360 because they didn't even cover it! Most likely won't be seeing this as an actual review anywhere but rest assured I will be posting it other places as well. Unless you can rectify this?

Love Pets Best

My dog Livy has eye problem and needed prescribed eye drops. Pets Best covers the prescribed drops and the refills. Very easy to file claim online.

Very helpful. Very Happy.

ASPCA Pet Insurance is very quick to respond and very helpful with any questions I may have. I have had no issues with submitting claims and receiving reimbursement. The website is easy to navigate.

They are awesome!

My cat got super sick, they sent a card, called and paid as expected! I also use wellness plan from Nationwide, which is great but always have to get them to get the right amount released. Figo is amazing, I am at peace and with so much affordable rates! The most shocking thing is that they are hardly compared on best insurance for pets or anything like that. They must be insane.
