Trupanion comes through!
I cannot say enough about the customer service team there at Trupanion or the quality of care my canine companion received as a result of being insured by you. I had heard that Trupanion was different, that they actually pay claims that are legitimate, and have found it to be the case first hand. Every veterinarian Iâve worked with since having it have concurred that it is exceptional insurance. I have shared my experience with friends, family, and colleagues bc I strongly believe that anyone who has a companion animal should have outstanding insurance. Being in the midst of crisis is hard enough even knowing thereâs insurance to help with the financial burden that can come with medical bills. Having to make the decision to euthanize one of my animals bc I couldnât afford a procedure would devastate me. I hope to spare others from ever finding themselves in that position and will continue to share my experience with Trupanion as a result. Thank you for caring and for being such a class act! We feel lucky to have you.

Trupanion is fabulous
I cannot say enough good things about Trupanion. Iâve been impressed every time Iâve spoken to a representative and submitted claims. Everyone Iâve ever spoken to has been so compassionate and polite, helpful and so very nice. I tell everyone that has a pet about Trupanion. Thank you for everything.

Great Coverage
I like the insurance coverage. I would recommend it to friend dog owners. In fact I did tell my friend about it who has a two year old shih tzu.

Saves my butt!
This past year with my basset hound has been quite eventful. We have had to take him into the emergency vet 4 times this year so far. We ended up getting insurance after the first 3 vet visits. He just had his annual vet visit, they cover $55, so I only had to pay $10!
So far so good.

Probably not worth it.
Short of serious surgery or genetic defect in purebreds, I can't see how the cost of the copays vs the monthly rates can ever be worth it. Using the first month of coverage had to take kitten in for sudden illness which totaled 350. So many aspects of the vet visit aren't covered that not even enough was covered to surpass the copay. It's outlined in the coverage details, but it seems like every possible cost that can be shlepped onto the owner is done so.

A needed service for all pet owners.
Trupanion has been a godsend as my sheltie ages. Trupanion has saved me great expenses and allowed me to afford medical care that my dog has needed. Anyone with a pet should seriously consider the coverage.
