Granted I have not had many claims but, the ones I have done, have not been approved. There's always an excuse as to why they won't approve the claims. I pay $400 a month for this insurance that doesn't cover anything. I keep it in hopes that one day if really needed my fur babies will be covered. I highly doubt it though.

Filed a claim which met eligibility criteria, but was immediately denied because ASPCA said they needed veterinarian chart notes. ASPCA stated fax from get was blank. Over five months I called ASPCA six times to be told process was being expedited, just waiting for vet notes. Followed up with my vet - they had faxed notes four times to ASPCA. We only got reimbursed because we kept bugging ASPCA to do their job.

Healthy Paws is a great company that cares for our pets. I have been with HP for 6 years for my 2 dogs.. They have helped me several times over the years. Filing a claim is easy. I download the vet's invoice along with the reports. They e-mail to let me know they are processing my claim. In a day or two, they e-mailed me it was completed and notified the reimbursement deposit into my account right away. I suggested direct deposit is best because my check was lost in the mail. HP send a replacement a week after I file the report. Healthy Paws is affordable. It's worth it to have a great company that gives great service and cares about your pet. I also suggested that read and following the policy guideline careful. Keep tract of your babies health report to submit to HP. In that way helps HP to processing your claim faster. My 8years old Tabby cat was really a healthy cat , suddenly refusing to eat badly . The Via Verde animal hospital with skilled vets and developed technology helped him and after one day he was healthy. But high prices for medications and x rays and tests.Being happy for his health ASPCA insurance helped me a lot in paying expensive health and the procedure was so smooth. I am so grateful .

Horrible coverage. I was not expecting to pay my monthly premium on a 100% healthy dog for 3+ years and when I needed the service, it completely let me down. My pup was stung by something at a park and had went into shock. I took her to the nearest emergency vet hospital and got care for her. Pet's Best delayed my claim multiple times claiming "we need to get more info from the vet's office" multiple times. Seemed like they were just trying to delay any sort of payment. After over a month of waiting they came back and paid me a pathetic $371 on a vet bill over a $1550! My dog is 100% healthy and I have been paying my premium since she was a puppy with Pet's Best. I will be letting anyone I know NOT to go with this SCAM of a company. Very disappointing and there was never a clear reason on why they paid back so little. Also there was no way to dispute it! They give you a number to call and that just leads you to voice prompts and a call back. Horrible company.

I adopted a rescue about 9 months ago. Rosemary is a very happy lab mix but she did come with some anxiety issues and apparently grass and heat bothers her eyes. Aliso Animal Hospital is great with her and Met Life has been efficient about processing my claims. So glad I added Wellness to the policy.

WOW! So impressed Healthy Paws is inquiring about my precious Oliver. He is the love of my life & can’t imagine losing him. Seems he never gets a break!! He, so far on chemo, is doing well. We go this Weds for more bldwrk & exam. UCDAVIS has looked everywhere for the main tumor but cannot find it. It’s an aggressive cancer & I’ve asked the vets not to tell me the odds for how long I’ll have him. It’s very sad 😢 The very best thing I’ve done was to put pet insurance on all my cats & now my new puppy. Thank you SO much for the speedy reimbursements. I’ve told so many people about HEALTHY PAWS. I love you guys so much and it warms my heart you asked about him. MUCH APPRECIATED ❣️

I purchased Pets Best most comprehensive plan after adopting a new dog, and now, five months later, I just canceled it. Don't bother with this company. Keep looking. In those five months, I filed two claims. Both claims two about 6 weeks to process and then they denied everything as "pre-existing conditions", including things like a vet appointment and antibiotics for an open wound that occurred two months after the policy started. Luckily, those were fairly small bills, but I can’t imagine how angry I would be if it was something more serious and more expensive. Based on my experience with them, I imagine that would involve some financial struggle while waiting for reimbursement on two month old claims followed by fighting for even longer to get the eventual denials reviewed.

Healthy paws is excellent Insurance. My five month old puppy had an accident in our pool and two weeks later had another problem with an obstructed intestine needing surgery. Healthy paws was there for both incidents without question and handled the claim quickly and completely. As long as I have a pet, I will always have Healthy Paws insurance. Thank you Healthy Paws!
