Accident Insurance Good Deal
I have four dogs covered by accident insurance. Over the years one dog has been bitten by a javelina, cut herself on a fence, and swallowed a sponge. Without the insurance I would have been out of pocket a significant amount!

Amazing!
Nothing but amazing things to say about this company. Stay away from providers that cap payouts. If you love you furry friends then HealthyPaws is an awesome choice. We have had major surgeries and emergencies for both our dogs and have received nothing but fast, friendly and carefree dealings.

Not surprised
Took our 10 month old kitten in for unspecified pain in the rear end. Physical exam showed no obvious injury. Blood work came back normal. Vet expressed her anal glands as a possible cause was sent home with pain meds. During the exam the vet on call noticed she had she oral issues with her adult teeth. Embrace has now decided our visit was for dental issues and never even addressed the reason we took our kitten in. We made a separate appointment for our kitten to have her mouth evaluated by our regular vet who sent pictures to the specialist. I notice looking at our online pet portal that our kitten is now listed as having diarrhea as a pre existing condition when she was less than two months old. Embrace came highly recommended. I feel a bit disappointed and thankful this wasn't a full blown medical emergency. Now I have to wonder if they're going to use baby kitty runs as a reason to cover nothing the rest of her life.

Claim Covered
My Dog has had so many health problems over the last year. When I got Embrace Pet Insurance I had no idea a month later my Dog would rupture a disk and need spinal cord surgery. It was extremely expensive and because I hadn't done the Orthopedic Waiver in time, it wasn't covered. I was very upset and asked myself what the point of having Insurance was and almost cancelled it. One year later (last month) my pet had a hip injury and when the Vet went to do an x-ray they found he had bladder stones and an enlarged liver. They had to do surgery to remove the stones and a liver biopsy to find out more info on the liver. And it was COVERED! I was very happy I kept the insurance since the surgery was $3k. We are still having to do more testing on the liver side (which will hopefully be covered). But everything I've been paying to Embrace has been worth it. They also cover taxes when they pay out a claim which I really appreciate. Even though that's a small portion, to me it shows the quality of the organization and customer service. Also, any time I have ever reached out to them they are always very professional and genuine. You can tell they want to be able to help as much as they can, even if they can't always tell you the answer you want to hear.

Can't thank you enough
My dog suffered a torn ACL about 3 weeks ago. My vet said he needed surgery. As soon as I brought him home, I faxed the forms over to Healthy Paws and within a few days, they processed the claims. I can't say enough good things about Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. The surgery, x-rays, and laser therapy treatments totaled about $2500. Healthy Paws paid $2000.

Wisest idea ever of a responsible pet owner
While me and my fiance are still trying to get over the loss of our beloved kitten, I still want to express my gratitude towards and very positive experience with Healthy Paws. Obviously there are some diseases that just cannot be cured so even the best health insurance couldn't safe the life of our cat. But without insurance for her it simply wouldn't have been possible to even get a diagnosis. In fact it took several vet visits and expensive treatments like ultrasound and an explorative biopsy surgery to find out what exactly she had suffered from. It could have been anything really. During those very stressful last months Healthy Paws processed every single claim within a week. Submitting the claims is very easy andquick with the app. I also had a number of questions along the treatment phases because I wasn't always sure of they'd cover certain things (i.e. if specialists visits were covered etc.). I'm the kind of person who likes to double check and I am generally suspicious when it comes to insurance policies. I have to say that not only did they process each and every claim fast and without causing any issues they also kept in touch with us on her status. I still have their condolences card and I was really positively surprised at the fact that a great number of people (their whole team maybe?) found the time tosend us such a nice personal card. From their personable comments I couldreally tell that they themselves can relate to the experience of losing a beloved pet and also how much the companionship means to me/us.
To sum it up: I am so glad that I decided to get my kitten health insurance. I've never done that before but as a responsible pet owner it's my responsibilty to malesure my pet gets the best treatment. I don't want to ever have to put a pet of mine to sleep simply because of money issues like so many people to. We did have to save up money and even borrow it for theexpensive surgery but we were able to pay it back within a week. Without Healthy Paws this wouldn't have been possible. I gladly paid $25 a month for making sure that my cat had better health coverage than a lot of people here in this country. It was the wisest decision ever and totally worth it. When the time comes we will have another cat and I will gladly sign her up again. And don't think it won't be neccessary. Anything can happen. My cat was super healthy all the time and came from a reputable breeder. Still she got sick. But at least I was prepared.
P.S. Dear He

I am so glad we have Embrace Pet Insurance!!!
We have an english bulldog puppy who has already required a few unplanned trips to the vet. Embrace has been wonderful in processing our claims and reimbursing us for covered items.

Ugh. Do yourself a favor and pass.
They paid for virtually nothing. I am much happier with Petsmat's Wellness Plan.

Expensive but worth it
I have really NEVER had an issue getting reimbursement from Embrace. Yes, the coverage is expensive, but you're basically rebated a significant amount of your premium dollars with each vet visit -- annual wellness and/or dental cleanings. And it's great to know if you ever REALLY need insurance for a very expensive or life saving procedure, it's there.
