EMBRACE IS THE BEST!!!!!!!
We have 2 cats (Misty and Lacey) insured by Embrace. I chose Embrace when they were kittens because of the positive reviews. I want to add to those positive reviews! The first four years, our girls had no health issues. But shortly after turning 4, Lacey (our himalayan) started having seizures and bouts of pancreatitis. It was terrifying and we made many trips to the animal hospital and her local vet. After extensiive testing, they determined she was epileptic as no other cause for the seizures could be found. They put her on anti-seizure pills and put her on a special diet to help control her pancreatitis. A year later (unrelated to her other issues) she had to have eye surgery due to a corneal sequestrum. She is now doing great and is happy and playful (luckily her sister Misty has always been healthy!) But during those times when her health was faltering and we were so worried about her, the one thing we did not have to worry about was the financial hardships of her care because of Embrace! They covered her care (according to the plan we got) and approved every claim submitted! They were AMAZING!!! I cannot tell you how much it meant knowing we could count on them!!! They were also kind and caring anytime I needed to speak with them. I now tell everyone I know or see with a pet about EMBRACE!!! I am like a "walking advertiesement" because I have had such an AMAZING experience with them!!! Thank you EMBRACE for taking care of us so we could take care of our Lacey when she needed it the most!!!

We owe our cat's life to Healthy Paws!
My cat has been insured by Healthy Paws since she was a kitten, for almost 10 years now. When our monthly premium increased a substantial amount this year (from $34 to $61), I strongly considered canceling her policy because I was so frustrated with the huge jump in cost. I took more time to think about it and realized that I had never had a bad experience with them otherwise, and that my cat was more likely to need costly medical care as she got older, so I stuck with the policy. THANK GOODNESS I STUCK WITH THE POLICY. A few months after the increase, my cat developed an obstruction that required emergency surgery to remove, then she developed severe sepsis following the surgery and almost died. She spent almost three weeks in the ICU and required a second surgery to remove dead tissue that the infection killed. We NEVER would have been able to afford this level of care for our cat without Healthy Paws. Even though I knew she was absolutely covered under her policy for these events, I still called several times to check in and was always reassured that was the case. When she was discharged from the hospital, I submitted a claim to Healthy Paws for $18,846; they reimbursed me $16,961 (90%, and I had already met my $100 deductible earlier in the year) via direct deposit EIGHT BUSINESS DAYS LATER. They even sent me a few follow up emails to see how my cat was doing with her recovery. While I can understand the gripes about the monthly premium increase, I don't understand the complaints about anything else. When I called, I was never on hold for longer than 10 minutes, and was often connected to someone after a few rings. I understood my policy back and front and knew that Healthy Paws would cover what had happened. Because of Healthy Paws, we were able to say YES to everything that would provide our cat with the best possible care at the only facility in our state that has a Vet who is board certified in Critical Care. Our cat is now home and improving rapidly every day. We're so incredibly grateful that we had Healthy Paws on our side, and we're telling everyone we know about it. Thank you, Healthy Paws!

Excellent coverage & customer service
I searched high & low for a reputable insurance company for my fur baby, when he turned one. (We had previously used a private care plan, specifically for puppies, through our VCA). Thank God I found Healthy Paws, because just a month or so after our boy reached his first birthday, he was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia. We were devastated at this prognosis, especially at such a young age. Having never used pet insurance before, I was worried that his claim for surgery would be denied, but the Healthy Paws team was amazing, and walked me through everything. They were patient with my ongoing questions, and eager to help, every time. Bo underwent bilateral elbow arthroscopy, & Healthy Paws covered all 80%! They even checked up on him, and continue to help us through his recovery period. I truly feel like they care, and it’s evident that their customer service reps are honest animal lovers. I’ve been recommending Healthy Paws to all my friends and family members. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
