Louis the French Bulldog just celebrated his first birthday, and we are thrilled to say he has his sight in both eyes, big ears to hear, and a heart of gold to show for his first twelve months of life. About six months ago, we weren't sure he would make it to his first birthday with both eyes intact. He suffered from an idiopathic mineral deposition in one of his eyes. The infiltrate was so bad, and causing such severe ulceration, that we had to opt for a radical keratectomy to save his eye and his sight. (I've read that other dogs with similar conditions weren't so fortunate and opted to remove the eye instead). Because of Nationwide I didn't think twice about his care and had the added the peace of mind that Nationwide was there for this worried dog mom. Because of the help from Nationwide, we have been able to provide Louis with the best care possible to save his sight and ensure that he gets to celebrate many more birthdays with us. No matter what Louis faces in his little dog life, I know that Nationwide is there to help. I cannot speak highly enough of my experiences with Nationwide Pet Insurance. Submitting claims is a simple and easy process, they're processed in a timely fashion, and we get back to playing fetch and snuggling with our pup without skipping a beat. Normally I would give a 10 as a review. But my last claim took almost two months to be processed. This is the first time that has ever happen. Normally my claim is processed within 3-4 weeks. But overall I am still very satisfied with Nationwide and it’s coverage. I have a dog and a cat insured.

Knowing her potential for acrobatics and high activity level, our Aussie pup Ripley has been Embraced since the day she came home with us three years, at 8 weeks old. I never expected her major claim would be for a dental injury. Playing with her brother, she had a hold of his collar and caught her molar on the metal D-ring, breaking it all the way to the root line. Embrace covered the initial consult with the local vet as well as the oral surgery with a board-certified veterinary dental specialist. Being able to get her the best care and knowing Embrace would cover the surgery provided tremendous peace of mind. I was impressed with Embrace's prompt and helpful customer service as well as their payment of all covered expenses exactly as outlined in my coverage documents. There were no surprises. I received my reimbursement much faster than expected. I cannot recommend Embrace highly enough and both my Aussies will be Embraced for life!

I've only had this insurance for a short while (three months or so), and have nothing to say except what a very good decision on my part to add it. My husband and I have been thinking about pet insurance, but never really researched it until Pets Best came across my desk. No disappointments, quick in response, turnaround time is typically within one to two days. Policy is true to claim process and what's covered (or what's not). Would highly recommend to anyone with a pet.
