They saved my cat

HP makes it really simple to submit claims and they truly care. After my cat went through multiple ER visits and a surgery, they checked in every time to see how he was doing and if there's any way they can help. They are a big company with small company customer service. Thank you HP for helping me save my cat!

Well worth the money

This is the first time I have ever taken out insurance on any of my pets but I thought that with a lab puppy it would make sense since they are notorious for swallowing things, etc. My policy does not include wellness visits but only accidents and illness. My dog started having seizures when he was 11 months old and he was sent to a specialist for evaluation. After an MRI and spinal tap it was decided that he has seizures and he was put on a medication for seizure prevention. We spent around $2,600 on all the testing and Embrace paid us within a few days. I really thought that Embrace may say the MRI and or spinal tap were not necessary but instead they reimbursed us without questions. I highly recommend Embrace

Best decision for my beloved furkid

I was very doubtful that I would get reimbursed for the many injuries that my dog sustained within 5 months (bacteria illness, double ACL injury, therapy) we ran up multiple HEFTY unexpected bills. However I was very happy to hear each time that they would reimburse me, and their turnaround time for claims was quick. I got my dogs physical exam done beforehand and followed their guidelines. They also called and followed up on how my dog was doing post surgery. GREAT CARING COMPANY and very much worth the small cost.

Healthy Paws has been invaluable to my dogs!

Healthy Paws has been invaluable to myself and my dogs. I have a toy poodle and a pomeranian that are covered under my plan. My pomeranians heart stopped during a routine dental cleaning - they were able to revive her, and with additional testing that was needed, it would have cost me thousands without pet insurance. I also have a toy poodle who developed severe gastrointestinal issues, and healthy paws has had us covered every step of the way. Healthy Paws pet insurance is by far the best decision I have ever made!

Glad I have APSCA Pet Insurance!

I have had a wonderful experience and recently saved over $500 when my dog swallowed a napkin and couldn't pass it on her own. Have recommended to many friends!

Great Experiance

Claim form was easy to print at my local vet and complete before I even left that day (recommend you be proactive with the vet clinic and get everything in order, most vet clinics will fax the claim forms with no fee). Customer service was excellent and helpful. Within 7 days of the vet visit I had the claim resolved and the payment sent to me. Really happy with how easy everything was.

Stay FAR away from these scammers

We have had Trupanion for years and have never once made a claim as we do our best to keep our pets healthy and safe. However, when one of my dogs could barely stand due to back pain, we made our first claim, only to be denied due to it being a "pre-existing" condition. The vet visit they cited was for what we suspected as back pain, but turned out to be an upset stomach, completely unrelated to his back. That does not matter. Because we went in for what we thought was back pain, regardless of what the actual diagnosis was, counts as back pain and a cop out for Trupanion. Save your money, put it in a small emergency fund, but I would definitely not recommend giving a single cent to this company.
