I was also kept informed by email the steps that my claim had to go through and a timeline for when I might expect the claim to be decided. I am not very tech savvy

For the most part Trupanion is the most solid pet insurance I know of.

The representative from Trupanion took a great deal of time answering my questions and encouraging me. The checks of reimbursement came in a timely manner. We had hesitated a great deal whether to get insurance or not since we are retired and it costs quite a bit each month but we are glad we did.
