I have had 2 pets insured with Trupanion in the past. Both have since passed but I never once had to worry that I wouldn't be able to afford to do whatever was needed for either of them. You guys have been amazing! We just started a new policy (with a new puppy we’ve adopted) and I knew that we would insure him with Trupanion. Thank you!

I feel my claim was scrutinized and large assumptions were made where no diagnosis was formally made. Therefore my claim was not paid to the fullest even after both of my vets made no diagnosis to what Trupanion called a pre existing condition. It appears that Trupanion took blood work up reports to assume a diagnosis where no diagnosis was given. I feel this is unfair and does not serve the pet or the owner and leaves a bad impression for clients who make payment faithfully over many years. Very disheartening.

The coverage is easy to understand and the claim-submitting process is easy to follow.

I was contacting Trupanion by phone before deciding if I wanted to purchase for my dog and everyone was very helpful and patient with me. Now that I am a policyholder the employees are very nice and helpful whenever I call with questions. I could not imagine having another insurance company for my dog.

I have to say, I filed my first claim and was really scared in the outcome after reading the negative reviews. I promptly sent in the claim form (via online) with my itemized receipt and they did exactly what they said they would. I wanted to put my positive comment in here to ease the minds of someone that may be feeling nervous filing their first claim. So far so good!

My Nationwide Pet Insurance policy for Molly went into effect 2-1-17, on 2-14-17 she began to throw up. Took her to the vet......2 days later she was having emergency surgery! I filed my claim and crossed my fingers. In rapid turn around time everything except a few cans of dog food out of the $903.51 final cost was either reimbursed or went towards my deductible!! My deductible is a reasonable $250. I could not be more impressed or pleased with Nationwide!!!! Excellent customer service, quick turn around time for claims and excellent coverage. I almost waited another year to even start the policy-so glad I did not. You never know what could happen. Molly is only one and a half years old.

Embrace has been great! I wish their Claim process took a little less time, but it makes sense that they want everything to be in order before reimbursement happens.

I have the whole-wellness plan for my puppy and it is worth every penny (which even then isn't much monthly) and gives me the relief in knowing I can make the best decisions for him without worry of debt. We get 90% back on all claims which makes those pesky vet visits and routine check-ups a whole lot easier on the wallet. Not to mention the processing for claims is quick!
