I have submitted several claims and always received a prompt response to confirm receipt of claim, updates on status, and payment of claim. This is the only company I have used for pet insurance so have no basis to compare other companies, but I have been very happy with Embrace.

I love Embrace, I have been with them since 2006 so a very long time and they have done a great job. Unfortunately, this year I had a real problem with them as did my friend. We both were covered and both had exams of our puppies. In my instance, my puppy and his mother had been bitten by ants at the breeder before I picked him up. He ended up having puppy rash 2 months later and the company denied that claim because they said the ant bite made anything dermatological a pre-existing condition even though a bite is just a bite and the other is a puppy rash commonly had by puppies and the rash was 2+ months AFTER THE BITE. My vet wrote a letter advising that the bite was NOT dermatological that the puppy rash was TOTALLY UNRELATED and had NOTHING to do with the bite. The vet should be the expert and he has said the two are totally unrelated and yet the company denied my claim because their PAID BY THE COMPANY EXPERT advised they were related. The same type of scenario occurred with my friend and the Vet wrote a letter advising that the two events for her puppy were also totally unrelated to each other and yet Embrace REFUSED to cover her situation or mine. I can no longer recommend this company if they are NOT going to believe my EXPERT and PAY AN EXPERT TO GIVE A DIFFERING OPINION than my Vet who confirmed to them the two events are unrelated to each other. This is just another way for an insurance company to deny claims and not pay. I am incredibly disappointed because I have had 4 English Mastiff's covered by them and paid over $3k per year, to ensure they have proper care for 12+ years (12 years = $36,000). It is ludicrous they would deny my claim when the two events are totally unrelated and when they are saying their PAID BY THE COMPANY expert disagrees with my Vet that a bite is somehow considered a dermatological, pre-existing condition. This is wrong on every single level of fairness, justice, and ethics. I am ONLY continuing coverage because I need to make sure they are covered for other issues due to their size otherwise I would leave the company. MY PUPPY'S SITUATION WAS NOT A PREEXISTING CONDITION - MY VET IS AN EXPERT AND NOT PAID BY ME OR THEIR COMPANY TO AGREE - HIS LICENSE IS ON THE LINE AND HE WOULD NEVER LIE FOR ME. PERIOD. THE INSURANCE COMPANY ON THE OTHER HAND WHO PAYS AN EXPERT TO SIDE WITH THEM TO KEEP FROM PAYING A CLAIM, WELL................

I have and will continue to recommend Trupanion to everyone that I know that has pets. We have been so impressed with the level of customer service we have received and we have recently had to submit a rather large claim for a surgery for our little Lola. You made the submission process so easy and quick, completely removing the additional stress of finances. Thank you, Thank you! We are Trupanion advocates!

I wouldn't be without this insurance for my pets. It is peace of mind.

I love Healthy Paws, and I recommend them to everyone I know who has pets. Submitting claims is super simple (you just take a picture of the vet invoice with your phone), and they usually approve claims very quickly. I had one claim that was approved about 15 minutes after I submitted it. In my experience, they pay for everything that they say they will. Recently my cat was suddenly diagnosed with a rare, life-threatening condition and the vet recommended major surgery that would cost thousands of dollars. The decision was an easy one for me, since I knew that Healthy Paws would pay for 90% of the surgery. I'm very glad that I can make decisions about my cat's medical care based on what she needs and not what it costs.

I bought this health insurance not thinking I’d ever use it. Sadly at 7 1/2 years old my baby was diagnosed with renal disease. The week she spent in the hospital and her meds were expensive, but your pets are like your kids. Whether I had insurance or not I would’ve still done the same things. Thank you Embrace for making good health ins and making it so easy to file claims. Since this was our first time to file I was not sure what to do but the rep on the phone made it so easy. I recommend Embrace to all my friends with pets.

I appreciate how quickly this company processes claims for my dog. I can check on the process anytime through their online portal. This company's employees are service oriented and friendly and the coverage for your pets is affordable.

An independent groomer nicked my dog's eyelid during the session and it required immediate surgery to repair her wound. I was relieved that I had insurance to help cover this emergency. She was fine, and my vet assisted in handling the claim.

I am happy to have coverage but was disappointed that Prissy's vet bills for doing tests at a speciality vet on September 18th was considered pre-existing. She had a swollen vulva before but the treatment was done for bacterial infection. The specialty vet care thought she might have cancer and did a fine needle aspiration as well as a sonogram and blood work to see if there may have been tissue left from when she was spayed. So she has never had these tests done for possible cancer or tissue - just a bacterial infection once before. Thank you, Trupanion!
