This Insurance Compares to my own Health Insurance
I was skeptical about getting pet insurance but realizing how expensive vet bills were for my cat, thought it would make sense to at least try it for a year after adopting a labradoodle puppy. I chose Embrace after comparing about 5 other providers and have to say I am not disappointed. While they did turn down several claims that were not covered under my particular plan, I have submitted 4 other claims for covered illnesses and they were process and paid for in a few weeks. I’m very happy with Embrace and plan to renew this coverage next year.

Wellness claim was super easy!
I recently submitted a wellness claim for my dog's dental cleaning. Even though the paperwork didn't get there right away and I had to resubmit (I think that was either a technological glitch or the vet's error) the claim was still processed quickly and efficiently, within a week. Embrace covered the full amount allowed by the Wellness policy. So easy. One of the reasons I chose Embrace was because the Wellness policy includes dental cleanings; I'm so happy that the process went so smoothly!
Every time I have called Embrace with a question, representatives have been courteous and helpful. They even respond to emails. It's a great feeling knowing you're dealing with a real person, when so many companies are automated and don't offer human interaction for difficult questions!
Although I hope I won't have to submit claims in the future (I want my dog to stay happy and healthy!!), if I do, I'll have peace of mind knowing that Embrace is such a friendly and honest company.

Great Service
My dog was only 4 months old. He fell off the porch and had a strangulation injury. He had to spend several days in the ICU. It was a stressful time. He was fine in the end. It was nice to know that most of the bill would be taken care of. There was no problem with reimbursment. The process was quick and smooth

Great Service

Prompt processing of surgical claim
The claim was submitted and processed within prompt fashion. The level of service has been positive for my Puggle's four years as a beneficiary of this insurance. The surgical appointment turned out to be benign but it was good to know that the pet coverage covered the services. She is back to being her spunky self.

BESIDES A SURGERY ON LUCY'S EAR ($800 WORTH), SHE HAS HAD PROBLEMS WITH HER EYES AFTER BEING GROOMED. ONCE WAS A HAIR THAT SCRAPED HER CORNEA AND ANOTHER TIME WITH SOAP IN HER EYES. ASPCA FULFILLED THEIR PROMISES AND WERE TIMELY IN SENDING ME A REIMBURSEMENT. (FINALLY, I'M CHANGING GROOMERS).

I think your Company stinks!
I loved your insurance at first. But then, when I wanted to change my deductable, they said I would have to get my dog ANOTHER Orthopedic exam, AND on top of that! I would have a waiting period all over again, in other words, I'd be just like a new policy holder! AND!@!!@!! On top of that insult, I'm not being paid out for all my wellness claims!!! This is way more than unacceptable! It is an insult! Why would you treat a policy holder this way? I'm sorry I ever gqave you a dime! You are a rip-off!

Fantastic from the first day!
My husband and I recently adopted a 9-month-old Yorkiepoo named Bailey - our first dog. Our vet strongly advised us to get pet insurance. I did a bunch of research and wound up using Healthy Paws. It's turned out to be a great decision!
Just a week after the 15-day waiting period had expired, Bailey became ill with a fever and GI distress that caused severe vomiting and diarrhea. With an 8-pound dog, the inability to keep food down is pretty serious! She's on the mend now, thank heaven, but the whole ordeal involved 2 trips to the vet (one an emergency), 3 nights there, a ton of tests, several prescriptions, etc. Needless to say, it was expensive.
Even after meeting our deductible and paying for the doctor's examination fees (which we knew about up front), the Healthy Paws plan covered a significant amount of the total. It's such a relief to know that, where Bailey's concerned, we have one less thing to worry about!
I would recommend Healthy Paws without hesitation to anyone looking for pet insurance - they're terrific!

Happy with Embrace
I've used the Wellness Plan for both of my Border Collies and have gotten 100% reimbursement for all of my claims submitted. The payment is quick too. I have had nothing but positive experiences so far with Embrace, great customer service. There is always a "live" person to talk to when you call with a question and they always know the answer. Thanks for keeping my babies safe.
