Healthy Paws is amazing!!
Healthy Paws is the BEST pet insurance you can get. I highly recommend this company. Not only are their policies very inclusive and reasonable but their customer service is amazing!!!!! Our 1 1/2 year old golden just needed major surgery. Not only did we have peace of mind financially knowing that we had Healthy Paws to help us out, we had Healthy Paws actually there to support his recovery. We received many emails checking on his recovery and telling us to give him a great big hug. Amazing company!!

It's been decent
It's been decent coverage, aside from the need to appeal a major claim when my dog was younger. I wish there was an option to also pay for discounted regular/annual care that you could pay for in advance.

Very easy system
Nationwide have been great with all communications with them. We get emails from them explaining everything and the compensation process is easy enough. What i would say is that you need to consider if you need insurance for older dogs (over 8/9) as they dont cover as much and it becomes less cost effective (we found this recently with our poor old dog who recently passed away). For younger dogs, they do help out with the costs and it is more cost effective.

Good Insurance
Good pet insurance, I just wish I would get the money back a little faster since my dog seems to be at the vet a lot and the money isn't getting back to me as quickly as I heard it would.

Useless
Adopted a senior cat (10 yrs) with some ear trouble and a thyroid condition. Vet visit to monitor and treat is NOT COVERED even though Trupanion’s site claims they cover congenital conditions like thyroid disease. My cat was also NOT COVERED for the exam for sneezing since he has a history of virus/cold/otitis.
Very disappointed and wasting the $ I spend every month for coverage. I do not recommend Trupanion for older pets as basically any condition that pre existed, congenital or not, is apparently NOT COVERED. Put your insurance fee in the bank instead and save for emergencies.

Lifesaving
I am so thankful that my company participates in Nationwide Pet Insurance. My dog has unfortunately torn both ACLs and it is so comforting to know that I am supported! Thank you!
