Best pet insurance company - period.

I did a lot of research before deciding to go with Healthy Paws - coverage, benefits, deductible, etc. I'd had a very negative experience with another pet insurance company in the past, so I was skeptical to say the least, but Healthy Paws has changed my mind - they have been nothing but wonderful! We adopted our dog as a 5-month-old puppy back in May, and unfortunately, she's had a string of procedures and hospitalizations in the months since. Healthy Paws has paid our claims in a timely manner, the coverage has been exactly as stated on their site (no surprises), and they've been incredibly nice about it as well. I'd recommend Healthy Paws (and do) to anyone.

Healthy Paws is in a league of their own!

After extensive internet research, the decision to choose Healthy Paws was a little scary. On paper they were the obvious choice. Their program, their service reputation and their claim to try to have the payment to the pet parent in three days seemed almost too good to be true. I'm here to testify that they not only met but exceeded these expectations! My cat Jimmy has been hospitalized twice with significant medical bills that have been covered by Healthy Paws. In both instances I received a confirmation of my claim submitted and quickly a follow up email detailing the payment to be made for that claim. You don't get this attention from other companies. Healthy Paws is setting a new standard for all insurance companies to follow. On a 1-10, they are off the chart. Get Healthy Paws today.

Look no further

This is my first experience with pet insurance ever. I purchased it for my 2 new Chihuahua puppies this summer. I did exhaustive research on the internet. Somehow Healthy Paws escaped my search and just when I was about to chose another company, I found them. I could not find one poor review anywhere…and you know there’s always someone who offers one star. The insurance is not for the expected costs…which I had been hoping…doggie dental, spay/neuter, checkups – the things that I pay a fortune for every year! I had to wrap my head around the fact that this is for unexpected problems that could leave me in the horrible position of wondering how to pay for a costly, unexpected but necessary procedure. Too many of my friends were having that experience. The monthly cost for Healthy Paws is low enough that if I never needed to use the insurance then I can count my blessings. Low and behold, about two months ago, at 9 months old, Abby started that skip/limp when running – luxating Patella common to Chihuahuas. Our vet told us she has congenital, bilateral Medial Patella luxation, Grade IV, of both legs. A specialist did x-rays and we learned her legs were already showing signs of damage. We did the surgery on her first leg 3 days later, along with a Sedated Airway Exam to try to learn why she makes a honking noise when she gets excited. Healthy Paws was better than all I had read!! I have the 90% coverage with a $100 deductible (which isn’t much more than the higher d

Orthopedic Elbow Surgery

So glad we decided to try pet insurance after having large vet bills with other dogs. Our 10 month Bernese developed elbow problems and we elected to have arthroscopic surgey. The insurance covered all three visits for this illness. My intial visit to primary vet ($185), the consulation with Orthpedic ($100) and the actual process ($3100) were all covered less the deductible and coinsurance. Great company to deal with. They even appologized twice becuase it took them a few weeks to pay my claim. I had money before my credit card bill for the surgery arrived.

Satisfied

When Taco got a severe bladder infection, I rushed himto my Vet. It took 4 to 6 weeks of medication to get him back to normal. I was so glad to see him healthy and back to his old self again. I was also very grateful I had his ASPCA insurance to fall back on to cover a great deal of the expenses to get him well. I don't know what I would of done without his pet insurance to help cover the costs. Taco is a big part of the family and we would all hate to lose him.

FAST, FRIENDLY, FANTASTIC SERVICE!!!

Tank has persistent vomiting that required a trip to the vets where xrays were done and fluids given. There were no signs of a foreign body but he did not improve and ended up back at the vets for iv fluids. This turned him around 100%. I faxed his claim/invoice and within a few hours had received an email that it was being processed and a few hours later received my explanation of benefits showing the costs covered by my plan. I have never dealt with a more efficient, prompt company. I wish health care companies were as reliable as Healthy Paws. I work for a medical facility and am very familiar with insurances and had great knowledge of insurance plans. This is what enabled me to choose Healthy Paws and I must say I do not regret it one bit!

10Our Dog Laverne became very ill suddenly And needed to be hospitazed. The problem Was resolved thankfully but the hospitals fee were high. Claims were submitted to Trupanion And they gathered needed records and updated us regularly. Then they reimbursed us quickly as per Contract. Thank you Trupanion!

Very easy and fast claim processing

My dog Deucalion hurt his leg while playing with his children friends. After xrays and an exam was diagnosed as being soft tissue damage. Bascially manage pain and time to allow the tissue, tendons and ligaments to heal. I submitted my claim and it was processed and payment received within a couple weeks. Deucalion is still healing and will take a few more weeks but his insurance has made it all much easier knowing I could seek treatment and not suffer financially trying to cover his bills.

It is Worth the Cost

I have a lab/boxer mix who is currently 13 years old, and she's full of energy, but as we all know dogs this age can have health issues. I had my personal insurance agent review several pet policies and it was his opinion that the ASPCA policy was the best.
