Dear HP Leslie, Finn's symptoms have abated after two weeks on a special diet and all of the crazy, expensive medical treatment. We were really worried that we might lose him. I always rest easy knowing with Nationwide my claims will be easy to file and quickly processed. They do a great job of providing updates to coverage policies and the pre-filled claim forms are very helpful.

My Rat Terrier has been insured by Nationwide Pet Insurance, on a Whole Pet with Wellness plan, for about 1.5 yrs. He has only needed wellness expenses covered until recently when he suffered a sprained muscle and we visited a certified physical therapist veterinarian for proper diagnosis and treatment. Nationwide was equally rapid in their processing of his PT claim as they have been with all his wellness claims. Overall, I am very pleased with the coverage and service(s) provided by Nationwide.

The customer service was tremendous and the care taken to learn about my dogs was so impressive.

We have had several unexpected illnesses (and costs) come up with both of our weims, and Nationwide has been very easy to work with and has reimbursed us for all qualified costs. Thank goodness we have them!

Although we have had dogs at various times in our lives, we hadn't had one for several years when I decided to get Oliver. We had never had pet insurance on any of our dogs before so we didn't get it on Oliver at first. However, Oliver had a few health issues in the first year of his life and we decided perhaps we should get insurance. He has since had one surgery and is prone to stones in his urinary tract. ASPCA has paid as promised and that is important. The only issue I had with them early on was when a claim was denied that I thought should have been paid. When I called the company to ask why, they explained their rationale but also told me that I could file an appeal which I did. I got additional information from my vet and after they reviewed the new information the claim was approved. I felt they were fair and open to reviewing their original decision. I also learned that I needed to be sure I submitted as much detail as I could. I am very pleased with the company, their service and the friendliness of their customer service. It is definitely well worth the money.

Your customer service reps are wonderful but Trupanion is somewhat pricey. I was disappointed when my premium went up in the first year.
