Terrific experience working with Nationwide

The process of snapping a picture, of my receipt, on my phone than hitting submit was so easy I did it while at the veterinarian's office. My claim was received and processed within a day. I received my check within 1-2 weeks.

Have to wait a bit for approval and reimbursement but other than that it’s good

we have two boxers & nationwide Insurance has been very cooperative with the coverage for them.

Always prompt service and Trupanion explains how and what I will pay for very clearly.

Claim was submitted on Thursday and check was in hand the following Monday. Extremely fast.

Good to have the peace of mind of insurance for our beloved pet and we thank Nationwide for being there for us during times of illness or injury.

Claims have been settled in a timely manner

I was happy with my insurance coverage for 2018. I would have given a higher rating if it weren't for the fact that the cost of Wellness increased by at least 20% for the 2019 renewal. It made the cost of insurance not worth the benefit of having wellness so I dropped the wellness for my renewal. I also couldn't get a definitive answer on aqua therapy coverage for treatment of my dog's torn cruciate ligament. This was the determining factor of whether I was going to renew my policy. I also come to find out that rules for physical therapies will be changing in January. A veterinarian must be on the premises or treatment will not be covered. I am not confident I will renew my policy for 2020.

Although I have not received much benefit from my claims, the customer service is excellent. And there is peace of mind if something very serious happens to our fur baby, we will have coverage and will not have to think twice about beating the full burden of expenses.
