The claim was processed in a timely manner
The time taken to handle the claim was processed in a very timely manner. My vet submitted the claim and it was processed less than a week.

The Best
I have had Embrace for over two years. This Pet Insurance is by far the best as I have done comparative shopping and talked with others. I always recommend them to friends, my vet, and mention it as well to his pet owners. They are fair in their pricing, professional in their manner, the claim is reviewed fairly, and payment for the claim is fast and hassle free. I am so glad that my German Shepherd Carmen has such great Pet Insurance.

Healthy Paws is the Healthy Choice!!!!
I am a first time dog owner. I am generally too lazy to get on and submit reviews for anything. I am usually not overly impressed by companies. But I really am happy to be able to help anyone else looking for pet insurance since we've had such an awesome experience with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance.
A little info - our dog, Bella, is currently (December 2014) about 2 and a half. We first got insurance for her when she was about 10 months old. A friend of mine had a dog that ate a small toy and required a $1,200 surgery. It got me concerned enough about the cost of care for Bella that I pursued getting insurance for her. While others advised me against it, I decided to get pet insurance because I didn't want to have to choose between good care and the financial issues surrounding illness.
First, let me say that I researched a ton. I took into account reviews, deductibles, co-pays, other out of pocket expenses, covered services, etc. I looked at all the major insurance providers. While there may be other viable options out there, I chose Healthy Paws.
Second, I am very glad I not only chose to get insurance for Bella, I feel fortunate that we chose such a great company in Healthy Paws. Why? Well, about 5 months ago Bella completely ruptured her ACL in one leg and tore the ACL in her other leg. I can't even imagine what it would have been like to choose between getting Bella walking again versus the expense of two major surgeries. While I hope you and your pet never have to go through what's required to fix ACLs, if you do, having Healthy Paws with you along the way will make it better.
Third, here's why I unquestionable recommend Healthy Paws (and talk about them to anyone I can).
1. They were fair and upfront with what they cover (illnesses, accidents) and what they don't cover (exams, pre-existing conditions). When Bella first was injured, we talked with Healthy Paws about the kind of care she was going to need and what would be covered. This is the part I dreaded because this would be the time when I really figured out if Healthy Paws was who they said they were. They were.
2. Their Customer Service really is excellent. By "excellent" - I mean that they always either answered my calls or they returned my call very quickly. They also communicated with me what I could expect and what I should do to ensure that my claims were handled properly. They also really care about Bella - when is the last time an insurance company has

Highly Recommend!
We have insurance for both of our cats. We have been fortunate not to need it until this year, when one of our guys was diagnosed with FIV. He has probably had it since before we adopted him, and his symptoms quickly became expensive. He is very loved, and we would take care of him no matter what, but it was a huge relief to know we had a financial safety net through his insurance.
Our claims have been processed quickly and efficiently, and we have received several phone calls from the office just to see how the little guy was doing. I sent a picture with our most recent claim and got a phone call almost immediately saying how much they enjoyed it. Those personal touches mean a lot in a very stressful time... Knowing that the foundation of this company is a love of animals and having them take true interest in our pets pushes them ahead of other insurance options we explored.
I am absolutely thrilled with our entire experience. The combination of excellent coverage, quick reimbursement, and the warmth and compassion of the service team are unparalleled. I recommend this to all my fellow pet parents without hesitation.

This is the best pet insurance company
I've had Healthy Paws pet insurance for both of my dogs for about 4 years now and have had to make a few relative small claims. They respond quickly and make payments promptly, and if I have a question the people I speak with on the phone are knowledgeable and kind. Recently one of my dogs had a serious problem that caused her to be hospitalized for 4 days. Healthy Paws processed her claim in two days and I had the reimbursement check within five. A week later I received a thoughtful email asking how my pet was doing. I don't think an insurance company can get any better than that!

Pet's Best Is Simply The Best
We recently lost our Boston terrier, Mr. Mugs, to a brain tumor. Pet's Best was with us every step of the way, answering questions, doing pre-certs for expensive testing and coming through for us, every time, in the amount we expected. Nothing can bring our little boy back to us, but having the peace of mind they gave us when a pet is sick, was priceless. I will use Pet's Best in the future and recommend it to everyone.

Speedy Service & Compassionate Insurance Company
I have heard awful reviews about many Pet Insurance companies, until I found Healthy Paws. Healthy Paws was recommended to me by a friend which helped make my decision easy. I thought I would never have to make a claim. That was until my fur baby, Olivia, started vomiting for days. We couldn't figure it out, she would never do it in front of us, only at night while we slept. After 2 vet visits and switching her food, none of which permanently made her better, her vet said she needed an Ultrasound. When I looked through her policy to see if it would be covered, I was so happy to find it was. I never submitted a policy before so I called Healthy Paws Customer Service team to figure out how I would go about submitting a claim. I was pleasantly greeted on the phone and was assisted through the process. After I submitted my claim, I only had to wait a few days to hear back and within two weeks was reimbursed. To top it off they even followed up to see how my fur baby was feeling. I am so happy with my decision to choose Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. If you are shopping for pet insurance, definitely take a look at Healthy Paws, I did and it was the best decision I could make.
Thank you Healthy Paws!
Love,
Jessica & Olivia

Great Insurance
I have a five month old DSH female intact kitten with a history of coughing. I've had multiple doctors look/listen to her, have had fecal tests run for long worms and intestonal parasites, an echocardiogram, and thorax radiographs. After spending over $500 for diagnostics, Trupanion was able to reimburse me for everything except the exams. The only downfall is that they don't cover the cost of exams, but that hasn't been a big deal.especially after the amountof money that I've spent. They also covered the cost of her antibiotics. Overall, I couldn't have asked for better coverage.
