I've had Healthy Paws pet insurance on my dog, Cami, since I got her two years ago. They were wonderful helping me handle renal failure with my previous lab and made that sad experience alot less stressful. In fact, their excellent service, prompt claim settlement and caring followups played a large part in my decision to get another dog. Cami has had several issues already. She's an athletic, energy filled bundle of natural hunter and like a typical lab, sometimes leaps before she looks. Healthy Paws has been there for us every step of the way, making it possible for me to always give Cami the best medical care possible without hesitation. I wish I could say that I've never had to file a claim but with this little girl, they have been many and hefty! Healthy Paws lets me worry about my dog, not expenses. I wouldn't trade that for anything.

The service we received from Pets Best was so good I am at a loss for adequate words to describe it. Five years ago my son died in an accident and I was lost and broken; that's when a 1 pound ball of fluff came into my life and saved me. I named him Murphy and he means the world to us. He is a black and white Shih-Tzu mix and we love him so much! When he got sick and was in the hospital his prognosis was bleak. I visited him 2 times a day and every time I was there I encountered people in tears over their pets. The ones that ripped my heart out were the ones that were making the choice to put their pet down because they did not have the money to pay for their medical needs. One family came in after their Lab was hit by a car. The 2 kids were pleading with their dad to save their dog but he said he couldn't afford to have the surgery done. They had to have the dog put down. As I sat there witnessing these sad scenes I was so relieved that I had made the choice to have pet insurance on Murphy. I didn't have to worry about making that horrible choice. He received wonderful care at West Vet and came home to us July 24th. On July 29th I submitted the claim and on Aug 8th I received a check from Pets Best! Amazing, a company that actually does what it says it will do!!!

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the service Healthy Paws provides to pet owners. My husband and I love our dogs, they are true companions to us. Everyday we experience the loyalty, light heartedness and unconditional love they bring to our lives. Without the insurance, we would have been hard pressed to handle the financial expense of our dogs surgery and to see her in pain, brought us pain! So thank you to the staff at Healthy Paws for offering such a remarkable service that ultimately allows us to keep our beloved pets healthy and pain free. I would warn anyone against obtaining a policy through Pets Best Insurance! I've had my pets policies with their Pets Best's NEW underwriter for over 1 year. I had a policies with their previous underwriter for more than a year as well. (I've had policies on my dogs through Pets Best for over 3 years, but they changed underwriters and constantly change their adjusting practices!) The only reason I still have my dogs insured through them is because the dogs have coverage for torn ACL's (which usually is excluded for the 1st year of a policy through most insurance companies). Additionally, both dogs have conditions that would be considered pre-existing if I obtained a policy through a new insurance company as the conditions manifested since the dogs have had Pets Best Insurance. Pets Best Insurance claims processing has been completely inconsistent; I never know when they will pay for something and when they won't. In fact, I have had claims processed by the head of the claims processing department repeatedly, and he has processed the claims completely different - it seems he'll pay something one day, and not the next. You can't count on knowing how your claims will be processed at all, therefore, you can never really know if your dogs treatment will be covered - despite what the sales people tell you over they phone (PS- they don't process your claims, they work on commission and will tell you what you need to hear to sign up!). Our dog recently had intestinal issues and we went to a local vet who accepted our insurance. There was no issue with payment and now our dog is fine.

I took my cat to the vet because she was throwing up daily. Never did I imagine the diagnosis would be cancer, and she'd be gone less than 3 weeks later. Thankfully she had the feline illness plan from Pets Best and I was able to get her the best care and explore all our treatment options without worrying about running up a huge credit card bill. When she passed, private cremation was even covered, and that meant a lot to me.

Yes I did. The original cost was $235, and after Embrace processed our wellness claim for my little cat, I had only spent $35. I am extremely pleased with Embrace. As an added plus, when I was deciding which company to go with for pet insurance, the Embracers were more than happy to answer every single one of my questions (no matter how silly or hypothetical). They didn't even mind when I called back after two minutes because I had thought of a new question!

I wouldn't own a pet without having insurance. It gives me the piece of mind knowing that I can do what ever I need to do to keep everyone happy and healthy. I have the claim payment sent directly to my vet and they love that also.Thanks once again Pets Best for being there when Tag and I needed you.

I've used Healthy Paws with more than one pet and have recommended them to everyone who will listen. Service is prompt and courteous, claims could not be easier to file and reimbursement is very fast - usually within 3 days of filing the claim. Communication from the company is ongoing and they truly care about my pets. They are so easy to work with and my vet loves them, too. I could not be more pleased!

Jack our doberman recently had to have surgery to remove a tumor on his back. It was tested for cancer and it came back showing that it was benign. Claim was submitted to embrace who in a short time paid a big part of the bill.
