Trupanion delivers

We have a Rottweiler insured with Trupanion and unfortunately he has had a hip replacement, crochet ligament surgery and has a lesion on his spine causing him to not feel his back legs. Trupanion has covered the claims without a moment's hesitation, helping us to take care of our beloved family member. I use a credit card and before the bill arrives, the check from Trupanion arrives. Highly recommend this to anyone with a pet. Veterinary bills are very expensive and I never want to have to choose between taking care of our dog or paying the bills.

Excellent value for our 3 dogs!

We have 3 dogs. Blue a 9yo lab, catahoula mix, Rudy 4 yo Pit Bull, and Rory 2 yo Pit Bull. Rudy and Rory are still young, healthy, and well cared for so we have had no serious accidents or injuries we have had to submit claims for. Blue on the other hand had some very serious health issues. She had a tumor on her parathyroid which was causing bladder stones and chronic uti. This required monthly vet visits, urine cultures, blood work, x rays, antibiotic. Special diet to deal with the bladder stones. In December, 2012 Blue went to Colonial Veterinary Hospital in Ithaca,NY for surgery to remove the tumor. That was a $3,500.00 surgery, that after sending well over $1,000 on diagnosis and treatments for UTI's. She remained on her special diet until June, 2013 when it was discovered that all the small bladder stones were gone but there were 2 enormous ones that would have to be surgically removed...the cost of that surgery was $1,300.00 again following months of treatments for UTI's. I would say altogether we spent close to $10,000.00 on diagnosis, treatment and surgeries. The ASPCA Health Insurance plan was there paying Blue's bills the entire time! We were delighted that we had made the decision to purchase the plan. My vet asked me what I thought about the ASPCA insurance and I told her how good they were. She now has their fliers in her office and recommends it to all her patients. We now have a happy, very healthy, active 11 yo Blue! Her vet is amazed at how healthy and active she is considering she is a large breed.

Such a blessing

We signed up for Healthy Paws when we adopted out Lhasa Apso four years ago from the Humane Society. While it is true for 4 years we paid the premium without any real benefit out of the blue she ruptured a disc in her back. What a blessing it was when we took her to emergency and they had to do an MRI ($2500) and then surgery (almost another $2500) we could just say yes and bring her back to health without worrying about the money. Everything was covered at 90% just as they said they would. It was the best investment in the health of our fur baby.

So Thankful!

My Frenchie and I are so grateful for Healthy Paws Insurance. Quincy has had a couple of major surgeries and Healthy paws has come through every time, just as they state in there policies. I don't know how I possibly could have afforded to give Quincy all the special care he needed without Healthy Paws. Claims were quickly approved and checks sent out within 1 week, better than any health ins. for humans. Great and friendly staff and so caring. Monthly premium is fair and their service is impeccable. One of the best decisions I ever made!

Best decision I could have made was ASPCA.

Our 11 year old Golden Retriever has been with ASPCA since she was 4 Yrs old. Best decision we ever made. They have proven to be very thoughtful, caring and prompt with reimbursements as well as with advice, recommendations and understanding whenever our pet had a health issue. We highly recommend ASPCA to any and all pet owners.

The ASPCA does not care about your dog.

Do not buy ASPCA pet insurance. My 5-year old dog had $5,000 ACL surgery after he started limping in May. Brought him to our vet, they said he may have arthritis, but to see a surgeon just in case. We took him 10 days later. They diagnosed him with a torn ACL. We got his surgery, then submitted a claim. The ASPCA decided not to pay for it (after paying $45/month for 5 years) because his "diagnosis" and surgery were in different "billing periods." Our dog saw the vet May 5, saw the surgeon May 15, and the billing period roll-over was May 10. Our vet, who we saw on May 5, didn't diagnose him -- the surgeon did, which technically means the diagnosis and surgery were in the same billing period, both after May 10. However, the ASPCA claims they count our vet seeing his "symptoms" as the official diagnosis. If this sounds ridiculous, it's because it is. The ASPCA will do whatever it can to not pay for your dog. They don't care about you. They don't care about animals. Do not buy their insurance.

Great Pet Insurance

We checked out plenty of pet insurances and chose Embrace and we are so happy with our choice. We only chose to cover accidents and illnesses and it has been a lifesaver. For what we are paying each month, it has been worth it. We submit a claim, we're notified that it's under review and they have covered every claim we have submitted so far. Great monthly premium plus great service equals great pet insurance!

Saved Me from Financial Distress

I have been with Pets Best for a long time and first got this insurance for accidents or emergency use. I never thought I would really need it until my furry love broke her arm. After getting it repaired, she had another accident which led to a second surgery on the same arm. We thought that was the worst, then the second and surgery did not take. Her plates and screws broke, so she needed a 3rd then a 4th! Already in financial distress, I was able to continue her care because Pets Best reimbursed me accordingly. I am happy to say she is now recovering and healing well and I could not have been able to continue her care, financially, if it wasn't for Pets Best!

Healthy Paws is Amazing.

We recently got a doberman puppy, Whiskey, just a month or two back. Only days after our insurance was "activated", Whiskey broke his poor leg. He was just 3 months old! We were both heartbroken...we knew immediately that this was going to be incredibly difficult. Having to keep a poor puppy confined so he doesn't injure himself further while his leg heals is no easy task. On top of it, my boyfriend was convinced that there was no way the insurance would cover his surgery considering it happened only days after it was activated. He was wrong. Healthy Paws stepped in, and in a matter of just DAYS...I had a check in my hand for the surgery costs. When I called them frantic, they assured me that any additional costs associated with the surgery would be reimbursed as well. I cannot express my gratitude enough. They took a major burden off our minds and we could focus on keeping Whiskey on the path to recovery. In addition, the process was easier than I could ever imagine. All I had to do was send an email or take a pic with my phone of the invoice....and it was immediately processed. I couldn't believe how easy it was. I just wish that I could give everyone in this company a hug. They did wonders for us. We will be with them for life. I couldn't say better things about Healthy Paws.
