Professional
From time to time my Boxer Cyrus, because he is so active will get injured in some way or injest something he shouldn't. Also this breed in particular causes me to check him for bumps on his skin because of the possibility it may be cancerous. Regardless of what the reason is it usually means a visit to the Vet. Embrace is Always very kind and professional on the phone and seem to really care every time I call. The processing time is very fast and the coverage for their visits are surprisingly good. Do your homework. Check all the other companies and you will find yourself coming back to Embrace every time. Thanks Embrace!!!

PetsBest comes through for my cats ALL THE TIME!
As usual, PetsBest did all the work for me in responding to and paying on my claim. When there wasn't enough paperwork from my vet to support the claim they'd received, PetsBest reached out to me and told me via e-mail exactly what I needed to do to have payment initiated. I did this and within 48 hours I got another e-mail saying my now-complete claim was being processed. Two days later I received an explanation of the benefit payment I'd be receiving via direct deposit, and three days after that the money appeared in my bank account. I don't know how much more I could ask for from an insurance company! PetsBest always-responsive and honest and direct action is what enables me to feel comfortable taking my cats to the vet when they're sick -- since I know that everything except for my deductible will be back in my account within a week after the vet gets the claim work in. That's incredible to me! I recommend PetsBest to every person I know who lives with animal companions... To me, it's just a way to make sure my own cat companions get the care they need when they need it, even though I'm on a strict budget. I put aside a small amount of money every month that gets deposited directly into a pet medical savings account, and then when that deductible comes up I can pay it and when the money needs to be floated for that week I can pay that also. We do the same for human family -- plan for medical expenses -- and PetsBest allows me to do this for my cat family also. To me, the less money you have to deal with medical emergencies, the more you need an extremely reliable and up-front insurance company like PetsBest standing by you to help when you need it most -- when your animal family has a health crisis. The premium I pay monthly is a drop in the bucket compared to the security of knowing I won't have to desert my feline friends when they need me the most and are depending on me for their care. Paying that premium is THE LEAST I can do when they give their unconditional love to me every single day. So maybe I don't eat out as often or whatever else I need to make sure I can pay that? Would we do any less for our human families? My advice: Make your PetsBest premium part of your monthly budget and forget about it. Put aside a small amount for the deductible, allow that to build as you would a human Flex Spending account. Then sit back and love your pets without worrying how you'll take care of them when they get sick. What more can anyone ask for?? -- Pamela

ASPCA Insurance is great!
I love how SPCA Insurance calls after a claim to check up on how my dog is feeling. I wish my Health Insurance cared that much. The customer service is always very friendly.

Peace of Mind
Recently my 7 year old Shetland Sheepdog Lexie had to have lifesaving surgery to remove her gallbladder and a gallstone obstructing her bile duct. The operation was a difficult one which required the referral to a specialty vet near Baltimore. The final invoices totaled more than $6,000. I am so grateful that Embrace was there to process my claims in less than 2 weeks and have the checks in the mail. This has made a very stressful situation less painful. The phone and email contacts with Embrace have been wonderful and helpful. Thank you Embrace for giving my Lexie a 2nd chance in life!!

Improve claim submission
I submitted my claim by fax and no one ever received it, then I sent it in to the claims email and no one got it. I had to actually call in and email it the customer service agents business email, not a very easy process.

Save Your Money
I opened this policy for my cat Milkshake almost a year ago. She had been to the vet to get shots and annual check ups. I wanted to have this policy on hand incase she ever needed it. I've spent $21.59 a month. I recently submitted a claim because of an ulcer on her eye. The claim took 30 days to be resolved l. It was denied because our vet thinks she has herpes virus. Not proven or tested. I had never gotten reimbursed for any of her medical expenses. Essentially I wasted $300. My advice is to open a savings account for your pet. These policies will find any reason to not help your animal.

My cat has better insurance than i do
I would never be without this insurance. Each time I had to use it, they handled it very smoothly. My cat has digestive issues and pancrease issues and without this insurance, I don't know what i would do. This is a must have.

Life Saver
Recently our small lab mix, Ollie, was diagnosed with tetanus. He was acting strange after daycare to the point where we felt we needed to take him to the emergency vet. He was panting and drooling, had glassy eyes, and was unable to relax his back legs or sit normally. Needless to say it was a shock that we had to decide in a few minutes whether or not we were going to medically board our dog for 2 weeks and provide full funding out of pocket to treat our dog appropriately.
Fortunately for everyone we made the right decision to take Ollie to the vet when we did. We were told that had we waited until morning he may have been beyond recovery. We are proud to say that Ollie is back to his old self and minus a couple of scars is healthy again.
The thought of having a family member in a life threatening situation is tough enough, but to have to weigh the options with medical bills in the back of your mind is exponentially more difficult. We love the ASPCA for so many reasons, but they have also been so great for us for insurance purposes. Within a few weeks we did receive reimbursement for a majority of a pretty hefty bill.
Thank you very much to the ASPCA for helping us save our dog and loved one. You really were a life saver!
