Didn't think we needed pet insurance since our Macy was a mixed breed. Turns out getting comprehensive coverage for Macy was the best decision ever! Coming from a rescue we were taking our chances on her overall health issues, and believe me, she has had some issues. Nationwide Pet insurance has really helped with the expense of taking care of our puppy's issues and has done away with the added stress of having to choose between her medical care and our budget. I’m thankful that nationwide is there to help. Pet care can be ridiculously expensive. And there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for my Tanner, but sometimes the costs to get him quality care can be out of reach and overwhelming. Who suffers? Not me. Tanner does. And that’s not fair because he didn’t ask for any of his medical conditions and there is nothing he can do to seek help himself. A dog’s life’s is only as good as his human allows it to be.

It was a very easy process and my coverage provided was great. We were even covered for surgery and a few rehab visits.

Our Scottie has developed a bladder cancer and even though we found it early, his long term prognosis is not great. Trupanion has paid steadily on the claims for our local vet and the Oncologist and the continuing testing and drug regimen he is on. Seems like we are sending in claims weekly lately. We took out the policy as soon as we bought our furry friend and Trupanion has always been there when we needed it. Sometimes I used to complain why we were paying premiums for a dog; but now, it is priceless to help us keep our friend as comfortable and pain free for as long as we can.

Pet insurance are great I recommend if anyone have animals please get Pet insurance for your animals. They need doctor care just like people

I know that he is passing that along to his clients as he now has brochures about the benefits of having pet insurance in his welcoming packages to his new clients. Although the premiums are a little pricey, I am thankful that I am able to afford it and I am thoroughly satisfied with the coverage and the timely reimbursements.
