I was hesitant at first to purchase insurance for my dog but did some research and liked what Embrace had to offer the best. We have a Great Dane and knew they were prone to health issues. Our shelter dog Frankie is 2.5 years old and we bought Trupanion insurance marketed at the local shelter. She contracted (or possibly already had a lingering) tick-borne ehrlichia infection that we only found out about 6 weeks ago because of an elevated protein in her blood test. We spent $1000 in testing and clearing up the serious infection and submitted the bill to Trupanion. We always give our dogs flea and tick treatment but the insurance rep said we needed a Wal Mart tick medicine receipt from before the infection for reimbursement. We spend $200/week at Walmart. Who does that? They'll find a reason not to pay valid claims!

Claims made an error saying my last claim was a duplicate, but fixed the issue quickly after I called.

With four dogs and one cat, it seems that someone is always seeing a doctor. But Embrace seems to always come through for us. What a huge help having Embrace has been. Without them, it would be pretty darned tough to get everyone all the care that they seem to need.
