Has given me peace of mind

I signed up for PetsHealth when I first rescued my Labrador Retriever. A Lab is an active dog that will likely see a vet often. The insurance plan has more than paid for itself over the years. We've been through 2 knee surgeries and an eye removal due to cancer. Claims are easy to submit and payments are prompt. I would never be without an insurance plan for my dog.

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is the best!!

My dog recently had spinal surgery which required expensive diagnostics and then the surgery itself, including several days in the hospital. After he was released, he needed extensive rehabilitation, including hydrotherapy and acupuncture. Healthy paws has covered everything, and they have reimbursed me right away, with no hesitation. And to top this off, they emailed me to see how he was getting along, and to wish us well, and send hugs to him. They are genuinely concerned with his health! I could not be more pleased with Healthy Paws, and I love the peace of mind I have since I have coverage by them.

Nothing but a scam

Even though most of the services and vet visits I filed claims for were covered under my plan, I was continually denied, or would get much less reimbursement than I should have. Monthly payments increased with little to no return.

My puppy ate a rock :/

Shortly after getting pet insurance thru Healthy Paws we needed a vet visit! My puppy ate a rock :/ Getting pet insurance was the best decision ever! I have another insurance provider for my 5 yr old Boxer but I feel Healthy Paws has a much better plan and covers a wider arange of issues. It's very stressful when you have a sick or injured pet.......Healthy Paws took all thee stress and worry away. I was able to focus on getting my puppy well. Thank you Healthy Paws! PS..I work for a family run pet supply and now recommend Healthy Paws to all our customers! Karin & Saylor

Thanks for taking care of my cat

After a scary trip to the vet to have a bite mark sewn up on my cats neck Pets Best reviewed my claim and paid out a larger amount that I was really expecting, which was great. Thank you for the service you provide. It takes a lot of stress and worry off when having to take our furry loved ones to the vet.

Embrace rocks!

My dog was diagnosed with bone cancer in July. I took him to the WSU Vet Hospital to be evaluated. After much testing, scans, radiation, & chemo - I had a $2200 bill. We didn't get a pre authorization because we had to treat him right away & the hospital didn't really know what the cost would be until he was actually there. I was just notified today they covered the entire bill. I have to pay 20% is all. I am so happy. He is going to need more treatment & I am so appreciative they are covering his care. I would recommend Embrace to anyone with a pet. They are great!!

Fast, efficient service when you need it most!

Our 4 year old black lab ate several pounds of toxic grapes. The vet hospital urged us to get him in there as soon as possible to avoid renal failure. Thanks to our Healthy Paws insurance, we did not hesitate to begin treatment immediately despite the large cost estimate. Submitting the claim (no forms!) was quick and easy and our claim processed in a couple of days. I am a huge fan of Healthy Paws insurance and very grateful that we signed on two years ago when we adopted our lab!

The Worst!

I've had a policy since 2011, maybe longer. The company changes their adjusting policies on a whim. They pay one thing one claim and won't the next. Recently, I filed a claim where my dog was hospitalized for eating a toy. Not only has it taken almost a month for the claim to be processed, but there was a particular line item in the invoice that reads 'hosp/doggy day care". The charge was denied, not only by a novice adjuster, but per the conversation with Pets Best customer service agent, a manager had reviewed it. The invoice has $600 of legit charges associated with foreign body ingestion / constipation. The clinic charges the same for hospitalization as it does for doggy day care. Even though the line item clearly indicates that the charge may be associated with hospitalization, and the other supportive charges that were present on the invoice- the company denied the charge. Now I have to wait for a review, though it's almost been a month. This company is terrible. I would never recommend them. Save yourself a bunch of time and shop elsewhere!!!!

Getting too expensive for less coverage

My comments are not just for this claim but service for the last 8 yrs. Since I've had your insurance, the rates have continuously increased. I understand that but this last increase is $30 a month. Yet I don't get more coverage and you find more loopholes to keep from having to pay claims. I also believe the deductibles are per claim. My human insurance at least has a yearly deductible.
