Definitely worth it
I’m so glad I have the insurance, my dog has really bad allergies and the pills with injections are very costly. My dog had an accident at the park tripped on a hole and messed up her leg pretty bad. Nation wide paid 90% of the surgery. When it rains it pours, months later my dog was limping on the same leg. The screw that they put in there was being rejected by my dogs body. Again another costly surgery. I’m so glad I was able to say do whatever it takes we have insurance for her. She is doing well so far.

Easiest claims ever
Claims are quick and easy with the app. Most claims are processed with a few weeks. If I could change anything it would be to cover preventative medicine and to auto deposit claim refunds versus sending an email to confirm.

I think the claim process is easy and efficient. I love the direct deposit, and I always receive an EOB.

Time sent in processing and type of communication
Based on the times we live in I think it takes too long for the claim to be processed. Also you guys only prefer to communicate via email which made sense several years ago. Text messages, and live chats on the site is today's preference. Need to get a little more efficient with your processes and communication. Also submitting a claim as an attachment on the site should be offered to your clients. Faxing is so outdated. Emailing is an additional step that can be avoided.

They do a great job!
I came home from work and my dog somehow cut a huge gash in his front leg about 6 inches long. Took him to the ER vet for surgery on a Monday night. Pets Best reimbursement my claim and money was back in my account by Friday with no questions asked. They do a great job!

No question claims - peace of mind.
I have submitted a claim randomly prior to this year and was happy with the reimbursement. Over the past year my dog has had numerous ear infections and muscle injury in her leg. The claims were processed in a timely manner and I am happy with the reimbursement. I choose to go the extra step and get an x-ray thanks to knowing that the majority would be reimbursed. Peace of mind when choosing test and medical treatment is helpful!

I can only say if it wasn’t for Nationwide I would not have my BFF Bilx (English Bulldog) today. They were right on time when we needed them. Not just once but every time. They even checked on us after his surgery to make sure Bilx was doing well. You cannot get better than that. We cannot thank the good people at Nationwide enough. Keep up the great work. P.S. Their pricing is more than fair and reasonable. I’m retired Army and on a budget.

Did not follow up with what was needed to complete my claim
This was around my second claim to embrace (wellness) claim. So when i sent in a claim that was wellness and nothing more then a teeth cleaning. Embrace went out there way to list claim as medical because of the stage one periodontal cleaning that was listed and they say its covered even though they have to check pre history to cover and to me what i see is there is a possibility of them declining the claim instead of just accepting the wellness claim in a timly maner, they take close to a month to finley accept the claim and i had to call them 4 to 5 times to get stuff in order because there was no one ever keeping me in the loop. I understand there doing job from checking history... But no one called me to get the ball rolling. Not happy embrace your better then this....(I hope) only time will tell.
