It's easy to use and if my animal is sick it makes it some much less stressful. Just know I can gene Luna the best treatment and not have it kill me financially is a relief .

If you were like us, you wanted pet insurance but felt you couldn’t justify the premiums. Well, we raised nine Labrador retrievers each of whom had medical issues, chronic or catastrophic, that cost us thousands of dollars over their lifetime. When we rescued our beagle, Henry, our vet gifted us with a month of Trupanion insurance. She wisely pointed out to us that none of us knew anything about Henry’s background. It was likely that his previous owner bought him from a puppy mill. Our vet also reminded us that while we were experienced lab owners we knew nothing about beagles. (An understatement!) She advised us to at least keep the insurance for 3-4 years when a lot of conditions could surface. Ten days after we brought Henry home, we rushed him to the emergency room because of a dangerously high fever. He was 11 weeks old, dehydrated and suffering from a massive urinary tract infection. He was admitted to the hospital, put on IV fluids and antibiotics. We paid the bill on his release and submitted a claim, with the ER doctor’s diagnosis and inpatient charges. Trupanion paid as per our plan and the clearly defined deductible. We were kept up to date , by email, as to the status of our claim. Wish our human insurance did the same... Because of Henry’s origins, he will most likely need more medical care in the future. We are committed to keeping him covered. The premiums represent dinner and a movie once a month for me and my husband. Small sacrifice for peace of mind.

The claim process is easy and Trupanion delivers on what they promise. Trupanion is clear about the parameters of the insurance plan, so there should not be any surprises when a claim is entered. I highly recommend others reading their plan when they join and asking questions until they thoroughly understand the details. Customer service is excellent. Our rescue beagle, Henry was extremely ill right after we adopted him. The claim process and coverage was as described in Trupanion's literature. We have been dog owners for 30 years and this is our first experience with insurance. Will never be without it again!

Frisco had a swollen eye almost shut. Took him to the vet and received treatment and follow up appointment. Filed the claim and in less than a week, received notice and it was added to our deductible.

This is our first experience with having any pet insurance, and so far we are very happy to have chosen Embrace for our little cat's coverage! Embrace representatives have been excellent, prompt communicators, answering all of our questions and concerns. The Embrace website is very user-friendly and all claim information is kept current. We have been telling our pet-,owner friends about Embrace- you are an A+ company for us!
