Pet's Best truly is the BEST!
I have used Pet's Best for years, but rarely every filed a claim. With Murphy developing cancer, I had concern about receiving payments timely or having some items covered. They have approved everything, and are ALWAYS faster than their estimated time to pay. When I do have questions, the staff on the end of the line is always very compassionate and helpful. I have recommended Pet's Best to all of my friends with furry children over the years!

Luxating Patella Surgery
One of my pups recently had luxating patella surgery, and I am so glad that I had coverage from Pets Best, as orthopedic surgery is not cheap. I am in the veterinary field, so I have gone back and forth with myself about keeping coverage for my animals (I have 3 dogs and 2 cats, so it adds up quick) but this has definitely proven to me that it is totally worth every penny, because I was able to get my girl the best care possible, knowing I would get some of my money reimbursed to make it less stressful, financially.
Filing the claim, uploading medical records, and everything was so easy. I was shocked by how quick the whole process was, and how quickly I was able to get the reimbursement. It helps me feel much more at ease, knowing that Pets Best is here to help if my animals need any sort of specialty, or emergency care. Even if you only have accident/illness coverage, it helps with the more unexpected things that come up.
Overall I am very happy with my experience, and definitely recommend Pets Best to anyone who is looking to get pet insurance for their furry friends.

Must have pet insurance
Our new puppy scout has had a tough start with several G.I. issues prompting a vet visit. On our first visit, our veterinarian recommended Pets best. I’ve never had insurance for my pet in the past, but went ahead and did it. I am so glad as I have had to make several claims which processed very easily and no issues through Pets best. It gave me the peace of mind to be able to take my dog in and not worry about a large bill. I’ve recommended Pets best to all of my friends, and I know that several have went forward with getting insurance. Thank you, Pets best for taking good care of our dog

Easy to use
My cat, Vlad has epilepsy. He has to take 2 medications, three times a day. It has taken a lot of time, dedication and effort in making sure he's well taken care of. Having such an easy and effective way to submit claims makes this the easiest part of having a cat with feline epilepsy!

Cheap but very slow process times
Very slow to process claims. My first claim they denied because they didn’t have my personal information which was on my paperwork. My second claim they said my dog wasn’t on the account even though he’s the only animal I have on my account. I’ve now been waiting almost 20 days for them to process my latest claim which I expect to still be processed given that I canceled my account today and that should have been processed weeks ago.

Rates keep raising
My Newfoundland will be 6 this week. As a puppy he had a eye defect and needed surgery. I had $700 deductable. They would not cover his bills even after I had paid the deductable. Haven't collected a cent from them yet my premiums keep going up. I regret buying pet insurance from them!

Peace of Mind
I purchased pet insurance when my dog was about 6 months old. He is now 5 years old! I purchase pet insurance for peace of mind with illness or injury. I wanted to be able to provide the best care for my dog when injury or illness has occurred without having to worry about how being able to financially afford. I pay my vet with my credit card, submit my claim and when I am reimbursed I use that money to make a payment on my credit card . So far I have had the peace of mind I was looking for. It is easy to upload invoices through their app. I have even gotten a reimbursement the same day as submitting the claim!

Quality of insurance
Once I got the system figured out, it has been going very well. A few glitches here and there but better than other insurances I have had. They are much quicker with reimbursement than any other insurance. Customer service has been helpful also.

Good and Not So Good
I’ve had a good experience, but not so good. One of my cats became ill, and the claim was denied because they went back to a time when she was a kitten when she was recovering from Pneumonia where she had some vomiting. They denied her claim when I took her in for vomiting only. So if your cat or kitten I ever had vomiting when it was connected to a completely different illness, they’ll deny any claim in the future for any case of vomiting at all, calling it pre-existing.
