Sick pup
My recently adopted Australian Shepherd/lab mix had terrible vomiting, and required an ultrasound and ER visit. Looks like she came to me with a cat toy in her tummy.
I had signed up with MetLife dog insurance through the rescue group. Boy , was I glad I did!. MetLife was terrific. Easy to fill out the paperwork, just sent in the medical report snd the bill. I feel good about being able to take care of my Piper female without worrying about my bank account. Thank you, MetLife.

Great insurance
We’ve had MetLife for my dog since we adopted him. It’s a great insurance company. Unfortunately we’ve had to use it a few times; and man, am I thankful we have it. Submitting a claim is quick and easy. Customer service is great. Receiving reimbursement is quick. 10 out of 10 recommend.

We feel safe with Trupanion
I felt respected and heard while signing up. I felt that everything was explained thoroughly. I love that the deductible is per incident not per year.

My experience with Lemonade
At first they seemed ok. I have a puppy now 11 months old. I received money back on vaccines. He got kennel cough, I sent them the bill but they needed to contact my vet for more information. I think they may have covered something. The real issue I had was when I neutered my puppy. They covered the neuter as it says in my contract.. which they kept referring back to. They don’t tell you that they don’t cover the anesthesia, the laser, or even the medication you get sent home with. I was very surprised. The neuter itself was $343, they reimbursed me $120. He did need some teeth removed but I already knew that wouldn’t be covered. However, there is a list of about $247 of things I thought would be covered including anesthesia & the laser required for surgery, as well as medication for after care.

I am finding the same great comfort with them. My new pup had giardia when she came to me and it took three rounds of treatment to cure it. She also needed blood work and spaying and it was all covered. So very happy I decided on Met Life!!!!
