We have had Healthy Paws for our dog since we adopted him from the humane society when he was just a puppy. We decided to get insurance for him after the amount of money we spent on our first two adopted dogs toward the end of their lives. We figured one catastrophic event is all it would take to make it worth our while. We were correct! The first few years of his life we did not even meet the deductible - which was fine, that meant we had a healthy boy on our hands. Recently Lemmy (our dog) developed a limp that would not go away. We discovered he had a torn cruciate ligament in his knee. I did not do any calling ahead of time to make sure it was covered - which had me nervous. No need to be - Healthy Paws covered 80% of the surgery (minus our deductible) and all costs associated with it - except the exam - which is the plan we are signed up for. The premium has risen slightly every year with age, but that is to be expected. We love Healthy Paws!

Our sweet Catahoula leopard dog, Odin, was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma this past June. My husband and I were devastated with the prognosis we got. He's my soul dog and I knew I needed to do anything and everything I could to help him, and because we had Pets Best, we were able to take on the challenge of fighting this aggressive cancer. We have been able to work with a surgeon in the Lehigh Valley Region of Pennsylvania, an Oncologist near Philly, and of course our primary vet in the Poconos, to get him as much help as possible. In June, we were given 1-3 months with our boy. I am so grateful to say that he is doing so well 6 months later and beating all the odds! If it wasn't for Pets Best, we would not have been able to do all that we have for him. I don't like to think about the decision we would have had to make without knowing that Pets Best had our back throughout this process. Because of this, I will never not have my pups on their insurance plans 🤍 thank you endlessly for helping up through one of the hardest times of our life. I have 2 dogs about 4 years old who have been problems for some time now. Fred (a mixed breed rescue) tore his both ACL's and a meniscus and Wilma (a Labrador retriever) is prone to mast cell tumors. Both were able to receive the best care because of Healthy Paws. I also had my last dog Mr. Magoo insured through Healthy Paws and, even though he was a big dog (80 pounds), he lived comfortably until 14 years old since we were able to provide the best care for him.

I've been a client of Pet's Best for 2.6 years. We have a boxer who has severe allergies. We see our dermatologist/veterinarian on a regular basis. The claims are easy to file electronically, they are processed quickly and I am always satisfied with the explaination and payment. I highly recommend Pet's Best to anyone looking for affordable coverage for their pet. We also have a policy for our cat.

Our dear sweet Golden was diagnosed with lymphoma right after Thanksgiving. Pets Best has been awesome at covering the claims as I am submitting them. We are so happy we chose Pets Best! We also had one of our other Golden‘s suddenly get bloat and Pets Best came through for us then too! The surgery was astronomical and they covered 80% according to our policy and we had no problem getting paid.

I've had to make 2 claims for my dog in the past 15 months. Each time I simply went onto the Pets Best website, opened a new claim, uploaded the applicable document(s) from my vet, and hit submit....took all of about 5 minutes. A few days later I received an email from Pets Best notifying me of their decision, and how much money I would receive in reimbursement. Too easy.

Waste of time. Coming here for 20 years doesnt matter, they don't care about the animals Just how much money they can make off you. Don't bother calling you will be on hold forever just so they can give you a crap excuse as to why you're considered a new patient and not welcome. Happy holidays, they don't care if your animal needs help, they would rather lose your paperwork and say they aren't accepting "new" patients. I will make sure everyone i know either doesn't go here or transfers to an actual caring vets office. Rude and ruthless.

I am thrilled with Pets Best. They adjudicate claims swiftly and correctly. Reimbursement is quick too.

I have submitted claims for my cat's meds in the past and was reimbursed. Now they are saying it is predisposed and they will not pay me. Also they are becoming a lot more strict and time consuming on claims.
