Trupanion is the best pet insurance. They handle claims in a very timely manor. We have never had a problem. I would highly recommend them to every pet owner.

I decided to get pet insurance after losing my first fur baby to cancer and was left with over $5,000.00 in credit card debt. I now have a 2yr old Westie with a fantastic ins. plan. He's covered head to toe, lol. A few months ago he started having stomach issues. I did not hesitate taking him to see his vet and then a specialist. After blood work, ultrasound and several other tests, thankfully he is fine. I submitted the claims totaling almost to $1,500 to Embrace and within 10days I received my reimbursement checks. I could not be happier with their customer service.

My Great Pyrenees LilliBehr will be six in Feb. She was diagnosed with epilepsy at 8mos old. If it had not been for your awesome coverage I would have been forced to put her down. I was able to have all the tests she needed when she needed them. Her medication is almost $700 every six weeks but her newest "cocktail" has kept her seizure free for over a year. She is a precious gift in my life. I love Trupanion almost as much as I love her.

We were so glad to have purchased this for our large dog. When she turned 1 we noticed that she was limping and favoring one leg. I took her to a surgeon who determined that she needed both of her knees repaired. VPI covered about 90% of the bill.

Claims are always processed promptly.

I submitted one claim for $609.37 for an emergency in March. I received $189.81. The next claim was $816.00 also an emergency in June and I received $51.76. With both emergency visits I paid $1183.80 while VPI paid $241.57. I have had my cat insured for about 9 years. I am not pleased that more was not covered. I thought that this was what I had insurance for especially emergencies.

Our chocolate Lab (Casanova Brown) had a near drowning accident. Apparently this was brought on because of an allergic reaction to insect bite or sting. This brought on respiratory issues for Casanova and was quite an experience for the whole family especially Casanova. Casanova has fully recovered but now comes the medical expenses and i'am very happy to report that we had absolutely no issue at all on how our claim was handled. The process was very efficient, smooth, quick and quite simple due to the new phone app. Healthy paws made this traumatic experience soothing with their warm caring emails and smooth claims process. This review is for overall care for my dog. The total amount is for the amount accured over the past year... At the beginning of 2014 I decided to get pet insurance for two of my 3 dogs. The third dog has hip issues, and I didn't think having insurance would help her... I am going to add her in when I renew. I believed I was never going to need the insurance. Boy, was I WRONG! In July, Eve, my youngest St. Bernard started vomiting blood! She's had multiple meds, multiple Dr's visits, and tests (including an EGD, with a biopsy). The Dr. says she has IBD, and thank God... no cancer cells were found. The Dr. is hopeful some new meds might help her feel a lot better. My poor baby went from 100 pounds, down to 88 pounds. There is nothing more pathetic than a skinny St. Bernard. She's my forever puppy. She's my helper. When she felt better, and I couldn't get up from the floor, she would come over and stand sideways allowing me to use her hips, and shoulder as leverage to stand up. How could I not help her after she helped me? Embrace has made treating her not such a financial burden. The money I put into the insurance was the best money I could have spent. Knowing I was able to treat her... has put me at ease. Thank you, Embrace! I am so glad I chose you!!!

I recently switched to Embrace for my 5 year old Lab, and not soon after our waiting period he started problems that had him hospitalized for three days. The bills were outrageous!!! In the past I would have never recouped even a 1/3 of what I paid out, but Embrace was GREAT! They paid the claim almost in full without delay and saved my family's holiday season. I have told all of my family and friends about them and will continue to sing their praise.
