Incident Limits and Loss of Coverage
I have had an ASPCA policy since 2012. My Jack Russell developed an illness which required a long hospitalization and maintenance of the illness with daily medication. My Level 4 plan included a Continuing Care Endorsement. Beware, once the pet is diagnosed with an illness and policy limits met coverage ceases. I am now left with no insurance coverage for my Jack Russell for any subsequent hospitalization for the illness. Don't assume that because the plan carries the ASPCA name it is a top rated policy. The company that underwrites the policies is a typical uncaring insurance company. When you need coverage the most, they walk away. Shameful.

Very satisfied
I was skeptical at first because this was our first time getting pet insurance. We chose healthy paws due to other user reviews and i'm glad we did. Our pup maddy got a rare cancer at about 1.5 years old. Everything was covered as stated other than the dr fees ( which can be pricey at an emergency/specialty clinic). The claims process is very simple. Just download the app, and upload a picture of the bill. Very simple, and once it's completed you can check on the app and it lays everything out for you. Unfortunately maddy didn't make it long...when we uploaded her final bill within days they cancelled the policy and refunded the overpayment to my account. I even received a sympathy card in the mail from them which i thought was very nice. I am still waiting on my refund checks, but i called and they were able to tell me when they were mailed and i should have them very soon. I will definitely choose this company for our next beloved pet! Anytime i called they were very kind and helpful!

Great services and staff are caring and helpful
Great services available; preventative, as well as urgent, surgery and dental coverage. They are easily accessible by phone; staff is very helpful and caring. They are knowledgeable. My vet submitted the claim form and I was reimbursed within one week. Rates are competitive, but I found ASPCA one of the best around.

Best monetary decision I ever made; these people understand dogs
A friend referred this insurance company to me when i got my two new puppies. While a bit skeptical at first, I soon was won over by its excellent communication and its program of wellness. I love my dogs and the feeling of being able to provide them with what they need when they need it has made my life far better. Look at this company if you love your pets.

So happy I insured Bianca Rose with Embrace!
I decided to insure my new puppy as soon as I adopted her. My last golden had many health issues and my thinking was that if I had pet insurance, according to Murphy's Law, I wouldn't need it.
Boy was I wrong. My puppy became very sick at 2 & 1/2 months. Embrace covered 80% of approved charges after my deductible was paid. They were prompt and kept me up-dated as my claim went through their system.
I chose Embrace because they covered many types of treatment provided by my holistic vet which conventional vets do not provide. This type of coverage was probably the deciding factor in choosing Embrace.

Embrace helped me handle my dog's squamous cell carcinoma
My dog was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of oral cancer - squamous cell carcinoma. I was told by multiple vets that he probably had a couple weeks left. A friend (also a vet) suggested that I consult with an oncologist about a palliative radiation option. I did and found out that it would help his quality of life (slow the spread, reduce pain, reduce inflammation) and extend his life. Knowing that I had Embrace made the decision much easier! 4 weeks of treatments once a week and he is now done with treatment and doing great given the circumstances!! His life expectancy will be more like 4-6 months now! It has given him and I so much more time to spend with each other knowing that we still have time, even if it's not a lot. I am forever thankful that I had Embrace insurance which made the decision to pursue palliative care so much easier, at least from a monetary perspective!
