Excellent medical coverage

I have 3 policies for my three dogs and have had them for 4+ years (depending on when I rescued each dog). My older dog developed Cushing's Disease about 8 months ago and the medical bills have been very high. ASPCA pet insurance has reimbursed me as promised and it has helped me so much to care for Missy. I never have to compromise my decisions regarding her care because of money. I am confident that 80% of allowable charges will be reimbursed (after the deductible)and that helps so much. My second dog has had some joint issues, a UTI and a skin infection. Again, what was promised in the policy (Level 2) was reimbursed. I have not had to use my policy yet for my newest rescue, but I am sure I will at some point in time. I would NEVER be without this insurance.

Best Pet Insurance Ever!

I have a German Shepherd who was diagnosed with an ear hematoma, which needed to be surgically repaired. I didn't hesitate one minute getting the surgery because I knew Trupanion had my back! , I'm so impressed with the whole claims process. It took about 4 days to process 2 claims. Trupanion kept me informed through every step of the claims process.

Embrace Coverage is great peace of mind!

I'm thrilled with this coverage and very thankful that I have it. The company is great to deal with, handles claims promptly and is extremely well run/organized. I would definitely recommend their services for all pet owners.

HORRIBLE

I am not one to complain online about things. As a matter of fact, I do not think I have ever written a review about a business before, pleased or un-pleased. We enrolled our Italian Greyhound puppy in TruPanion, due to the fact that IG's are famous for breaking legs and we were worried with our puppy being as silly and as fast as he is, he may end up breaking a leg, which as you know, can cost thousands of dollars to repair. In October, our puppy ate some plastic from our window blinds which caused him some diarrhea and vomiting. We took him to the vet were they ran some tests and blood work. All came back negative for any type of bacteria or infection. He passed the plastic the next day and was fine. The vet concluded it was caused by the plastic and no further tests needed to be conducted. In December, our puppy became extremely ill. He had some type of bacterial infection (probably picked up from Petsmart because they are FILTHY, but that is whole other issue). Long story short, the tests, medicine, and care ended up costing almost $1400. We submitted a claim for reimbursment to TruPanion and it was denied becuase they said the December incident was a pre-existing condition, which is absolutely ridiculous. How is eating plastic and having a bacterial infection the same thing? We had our vet write TWO letters to them explaining how one was caused by the injestion of the plastic and one by a bacteria. They denied the claim again coming back and saying this time

Excellent insurance

My younger dog has been embraced since I got him as a puppy -- about a year and a half now. While they went through a period where it took them up to 3 weeks to process a claim, they're back to processing them in under a week. With my dog electrocuting himself and his allergies, I've sent in a lot of claims. I've never had one questionned or denied. And their wellness coverage is great. I only wish I'd discovered Embrace sooner so I could have gotten my 10-year-old dog covered as well.

10/10 Incredible - Best Service + Simple Claims

My 6-yr old female Weimeraner has been insured with Healthy Paws for almost 2 years now. I am blown away by the professionalism, competency, quality and speed of reimbursement of this company. (If only my human health insurance were of this caliber!) The most recent cause for me to use my insurance - Bella started the have difficulty getting up from a seated or lying down position; as if her knees or hips were hurting. Initially I took her to my regular Vet. He took a zillion xrays and tapped the knee joint to test the fluid for inflammation. His diagnosis was cruciate ligament problems, bilaterally (means both knees) and recommended surgery at a cost of $6,000 (just the surgery fee - additional fees for all the ancillary charges. I didn't feel comfortable with this...so I decided just like in human cases, a second opinion would be a good idea. I contacted Healthy Paws, and sure enough - not only did they say my policy covers the cost of a second opinion, they encouraged me to pursue it for Bella's sake. The specialist I took Bella to see is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. He is not convinced at this stage by merely looking at several x-rays of the diagnosis that the first Veterinarian arrived at. He explained in detail, which I skip here) that further tests were required to figure what was really going on. So Monday of next week, we are off to North Carolina to the University to have an MRI performed on both her knees (and of the hips are suspect, both hips). Again, He
