Fast, reliable, kind!
Claim reimbursement in the past has taken forever, but I appreciate the speedy approval and reimbursement I’ve received lately! It feels great to not have to worry about how to pay for expensive treatments on a recurring basis.
If I ever need to call, I speak with a compassionate animal lover - and not just an insurance company.

Learning pet insurance
Learning the ropes of pet insurance. Had 20 years work experience doing mental health billing. This is a new world. Filing pet claims manually by mail, finally got online web access, as I’m on the smartphone most of the time. Nationwide has processed claims VERY timely, paid well on well visit part of insurance, EOB’s explained clearly what is deductible on other claims.

Nationwide is great!
We have loved Nationwide Insurance since we got our dachshund puppy Quincy. We have had one health issue where he needed to have testing as well as x-rays completed. Nationwide quickly processed the claim and had our insurance payment to us in a timely fashion. The fact that Nationwide also covers routine preventive maintenance medications is also a positive. I will definitely be recommending Nationwide to other friends and family when they add a new fur baby to their families.

Overall a good service.
Of the top of my head. Overall good, the initial descriptions of what is and isn’t covered could be more clear regarding preventative medications.
