ASPCA experience

Overall we are very happy with ASPCA pet insurance, although the premium does tend to go up year on year (what doesn't?) we have still found it to be beneficial and worthwhile, especially in cases of emergency. It gives us peace of mind to know that if something were to happen to our beloved French Bulldog that we can take her straight to the vets without worrying about cost. There is an annual deductible but after that costs are covered. The claim process is easy and efficient and we are always reimbursed in a timely fashion.

Excellent Pet Insurance Company

Always processes claims in timely fashion with no argument. I have had health insurance on my horses where getting a claim reimbursed was very difficult. I wish Embrace had health insurance for horses! I just had my daughter sign up her Cocker Spaniel puppy. I have a Lab, a Cocker Spaniel, and a Tabby cat insured by Embrace.

THE REAL DEAL

This is our first experience with pet insurance. We used a "wellness plan" at a major vet chain with our last bulldog, and it can't hold a candle to Embrace. They are thorough, they are very communicative, and they are there every step of the way. The claims process is simple and expeditious, and the flexibility offered by the plan in terms of where you can seek treatment is awesome! Couldn't be happier.

Fantastic Company

I have two cavalier king charles spaniels. If you are not familiar with the breed, there are several specific health concerns that are associated with them. Because I wanted to make sure that my animals were able to receive the best care possible, I decided to invest in pet insurance for them. I did extensive research on all of the companies, and ultimately ended up with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for several reasons: 1. No Anual cap on claims: this was very important to check, as with your premiums, some companies have caps at around 1,500.00 a year. This made no sense to me, given the comparison of premiums and the coverage.healthy paws has no annual cap, the only company I could find that offered no cap. 2. Pre-existing condition coverage: again, this was a fine print obsession for me. My older cavalier had a luxating platella in his right knee prior to obtaining coverage. This is very common, so I wanted to make sure that any insurance company I went with would cover a similar injury to the other leg. In the context of pet insurance, this is apparently referred to as a "bilateral condition". Healthy Paws was the ONLY insurance company who had very minor restrictions on Bilateral pre-existing conditions, only ACL injuries, which seemed very univesal to all companies. 3.Reimbursement values: this was the best around, I ended up selecting the 90% reimbursement, with a slightly higher premium. 4. Adjustable premiums: this allowed a lot of freedom in deciding h

Just started and am very pleased.

I researched many insurance companies and decided on Embrace for their coverage. Signing up was easy. Coverages can be tailored made for you needs. I took my 7 week Great Dane pup to her first vet visit the day after I picked her up from the breeder. The insurance forms were simple to use and the staff was very helpful in walking me through the steps this first time. My first paid claimed was for the Wellness plan have been overjoyed with the payment and EOB. I am a very satisfied customer at this time.

I loved Embrace till my first policy renewal

I've had Embrace insurance for my beagle mix for a little under a year. I got the renewal quote in the mail and was surprised by the amount it went up, going up from $565 to $640. I called to ask why and the representative that Embrace will raise my rates every year by 10% because my dog is over 5 years old. If she lives a long time and they increase rates by 10% every year, this insurance is going to be very expensive. I did a lot of research before choosing Embrace, and I have been very happy with their response time to our claims, and they have always reimbursed my 80%. But this 10% percent increase every year just because my dog is now 6 years old is crazy. I would be more understanding if my dog was over 10 years old, but everyone calls her a puppy and yet I'm paying elderly dog rates. I'm no longer recommending Embrace to my friends and cautioning them that even the best companies will increase your rate $75 for no reason. I haven't decided whether to renew or not this year or switch to a different company.

Fast and friendly!

My four kitties are covered with Embrace for both wellness and sickness/injury. Thankfully, I have not needed to make a sickness claim as of yet, but if the quick payout of their wellness claims are any indication, I know we've joined up with the RIGHT insurance company! And customer service has been quick with help AND friendliness as well! Only praise for Embrace so far!

reimbursement

Very good on reimbursements and follow-ups, once submitted. They did lose some paperwork I had mailed, but when I re-submitted via email, it was quickly processed. So always keep copies if you mail in claims! But they are very nice and helpful and I find service quick! Had 3 claims to submit.

Excellent

After several years with a different insurance and so many hassles, I switched to Embrace. I am so glad I did and wish I had done it sooner. I so pleased with their responsiveness, helpfulness, and always keeping me informed. The coverage is better and the cost is cheaper! Best switch I ever made.
